Sikhism, also known as Sikhi, is an Indian religion and philosophy that originated in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent around the end of the 15th century CE. It is one of the most recently founded major religions and among the largest in the world with about 25–30 million adherents.
Guru Gobind Singh was the tenth and last human Sikh Guru. He was a warrior, poet, and philosopher. In 1675, at the age of nine he was formally installed as the leader of the Sikhs after his father Guru Tegh Bahadur was executed by Emperor Aurangzeb. His father was the ninth Sikh Guru. His four biological sons died during his lifetime – two in battle and two executed by the Mughal governor Wazir Khan.
The term Khalsa refers to both a community that follows Sikhism as its religion, as well as a special group of initiated Sikhs. The Khalsa tradition was initiated in 1699 by the Tenth Guru of Sikhism, Guru Gobind Singh. Its formation was a key event in the history of Sikhism. The founding of Khalsa is celebrated by Sikhs during the festival of Vaisakhi.
Malerkotla is a city and the district headquarters of Malerkotla district in the Indian state of Punjab. It served as the seat of the eponymous princely state during the British Raj. Jains believe that Jainism is an eternal dharma with the tirthankaras guiding every cycle of the Jain cosmology.
Sri Muktsar Sahib, often referred to as simply Muktsar, is a historical city and district headquarters in Punjab, India. The 2011 census of India put the total population of Sri Muktsar Sahib municipality at 117,085, making it the 14th largest city of Punjab, in terms of population. The second Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Angad was born in the village Matte-di-Sarai (Sarainaga) in the same district. Earlier the city was called Khidrana/Khidrane di dhab, the city was named Muktsar after the Battle of Muktsar in 1705 and the district headquarters in 1995. The government officially changed the name of the city to Sri Muktsar Sahib in 2012, though the city is still primarily referred to by its unofficial name – Muktsar.
Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, often referred to by its initials SGGSCC, is a constituent college of the University of Delhi located in Delhi, India. It was founded in 1984 and is named after the tenth Sikh Guru. It is the second college of commerce of the University of Delhi and is primarily a co-educational English medium institution. In the year 2022, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council accredited it with a CGPA of 3.54 and a A++ grade. It is also ranked 47th among colleges across India by National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2023.
Nanakshahi bricks, also known as Lakhuri bricks, were decorative bricks used for structural walls during the Mughal era. They were employed for constructing historical Sikh architecture, such as at the Golden Temple complex. The British colonists also made use of the bricks in Punjab.

The Battle of Bhangani was fought between Guru Gobind Singh's army and Bhim Chand (Kahlur) of Bilaspur on 18 September 1686 or 1688, at Bhangani near Paonta Sahib. An alliance of Rajput Rajas of the Shivalik Hills participated in the engagement on behalf of Bhim Chand of Bilaspur State's side, including the states of Garhwal and Kangra. It was the first battle Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, fought at the age of 19.

Prateek Jain is an Indian model, actor and the winner of Provogue MensXP Mister World India 2014. He represented India at Mister World 2014 and was among Top 10 Finalists. In 2015, he won Asian Supermodel Contest held in China. He is the first Indian man to win the Asian Supermodel Contest.
Provogue MensXP Mr India World 2014 was the sixth edition of Mister World India pageant held in Mumbai on May 8, 2014. Fourteen contestants from all over India were chosen as finalists to compete in the main event in Mumbai. 25 years old Prateik Jain from Bangalore was declared Provogue MensXP Mr India World 2014. 25 years old Puneet Beniwal from New Delhi was declared 1st Runner Up and 23 years old Bharat Raj from Chennai was declared 2nd Runner Up.
Times Mister India, aka Mister India World, is a beauty pageant and organization that selects the India's official representative to the Mister World pageant.
Bharat Kumar Kundra is an Indian actor, model, and anchor based in Mumbai and New Delhi, India. At the young age of 21, while still at college, he started his career in Media and Entertainment after winning prestigious title of Mr. India 2007. Bharat was also won the title of Mr. Photogenic at the same competition.

Rahul Rajasekharan from Kerala was declared the 1st Runner Up and Prateek Gujral from Maharashtra was declared the 2nd Runner Up at the grand finale held in Club Royalty, Mumbai.
Rahul Rajasekharan Nair is an Indian model, actor and the winner of Mister Supranational India 2021 beauty pageant title. He represented India at Mister Supranational 2021 held on 22 August 2021 at Nowy Sącz, Poland and made it to the Top 10 finalists and also bagged the Mister Supranational Asia 2021 title.
