PureBoys (stylized PureBOYS from 2007-2008) was a Japanese project group formed in 2007 by Ameba. [1] PureBoys was conceived as an endorsement featuring young actors from various talent agencies to promote Ameba's blogging service, Ameba Blogs, but soon included several acting and singing projects for the members. The group's music is released through the indie label Pull Up Records. After releasing several singles and stage plays together, PureBoys disbanded in 2012.

History

The group formed in June 2007 [2] and opened its official website July 20, 2007.

Released of its debut single Kampai Je T'aime September 26, 2007, released Back Stage File #1 DVD October 3, 2007, staging of Act.1: 7Cheers! ~Jibun to iu Daichi Kara~ October 3–8, 2007 re-release of Kampai Je T'aime CD October 10, 2007, released First Photobook November 16, 2007, released 7Cheers! DVD December 21, 2007.

On December 28, 2007 it announced two new members: Sakimoto and Sato. On March 21, 2008 Takiguchi, Kato and Nakayama announced their graduation from the group via blog entry. March 28, 2008 was the graduation ceremony during the PureBOYS internet broadcast show Harajuku AmeSuta Gakuen.

On August 31, 2008 Takeda graduated from PureBOYS and on September 12, 2008 Itogi was introduced as the newest member.

On September 13, 2012, PureBoys announced through their official website that they were disbanding after their final event on October 27. [3]

Maki Goto is a Japanese singer, lyricist, and former actress. Born and raised in Edogawa, Tokyo, Goto began her musical career in 1999 when she joined Morning Musume as the only third generation member. Miho Katō, better known by her stage name of Miliyah Kato is a Japanese pop and urban singer-songwriter from Toyota, Aichi, Japan. They sales in Japan, both physical, digital and ringtones are 12.6 million copies.

Katō Danzō was a famed 16th century ninja master during the Sengoku period Japan who was also known as flying Katō.

<i>Team Medical Dragon</i> manga

Team Medical Dragon is a seinen manga about Japanese medical care written by Akira Nagai with illustrations by Taro Nogizaka and medical supervision by Mie Yoshinuma. The series was published in Big Comic Superior between 2002 and 2011. It was adapted into a live action series.

Emiri Katō is a Japanese voice actress and singer working for 81 Produce. At the 2nd Seiyu Awards, she won Best New Actress with her roles in Powerpuff Girls Z as Momoko Akatsutsumi/Hyper Blossom and Lucky Star as Kagami Hiiragi. She also shared a Best Singing Award with the rest of the Lucky Star girls for the theme song "Motteke! Sailor Fuku". At the 6th Seiyu Awards, she won Best Supporting Actress with roles such as Kyubey in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Kiko Kayanuma in Darker Than Black, and Mey-Rin in Black Butler. She and fellow voice actress Kaori Fukuhara were in a duo music group called Kato*Fuku, which sang theme songs for When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace and Battle Spirits Saikyo Ginga Ultimate Zero. Kato*Fuku released three albums from 2012 to 2015, and disbanded in 2016.

Water Boys 2005 Natsu is a two-part Japanese drama series that aired in Japan on Fuji Television on August 19 and 20 2005. This is the third and final season of the series Water Boys, as its alternate title suggests, Water Boys Finale.

<i>Kamen Rider Kiva</i> television series

Kamen Rider Kiva is the title of the 2008 Kamen Rider Japanese tokusatsu television series produced by Toei Company and Ishimori Productions. It premiered on January 27, 2008, following the finale of Kamen Rider Den-O. It aired as a part of TV Asahi's 2008 Super Hero Time block with Engine Sentai Go-onger. Advertisements showed a horror film theme to the series, with the motif for Kamen Rider Kiva as a vampire. The first episode began with a commemoration of the series in honor of the seventieth anniversary of Shotaro Ishinomori's birthday.

Yukihiro Takiguchi Japanese actor

Yukihiro Takiguchi was a Japanese actor, singer, and model affiliated with Stardust Promotion. After modeling in various campaigns, he made his acting debut in the 2004 television series Water Boys 2 and later appeared as Fumizō Sōma from Tadashii Ōji no Tsukurikata, Shōzō Akaike from the Takumi-kun film adaptation series, and Akira Hayase from Kamen Rider Drive.

Toru Baba is a Japanese actor, entertainer and singer. He is best known for his role as Yagyū Hiroshi in The Prince of Tennis musicals. He was one of PureBOYS.

Keisuke Katō is a Japanese actor. He is best known for his roles as Kousuke Kitamura (Ivory) in TV Tokyo's drama Happy Boys and Keisuke Nago/Kamen Rider Ixa in TV Asahi's tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Kiva. Also, he is one of PureBoys, though on March 21, 2008 he announced his graduation from the group alongside colleagues Yukihiro Takiguchi and Masei Nakayama. This graduation was made official on March 31, 2008; the "graduation ceremony" was on March 28, 2008 during the PureBoys' weekly school-themed internet broadcast show. He graduated from Nihon University. In 2016, he launched his apparel brand "StarLean". On March 31, 2017, he left the talent agency Box Corporation to retire from the entertainment business, but from 2018, he is affiliated with the talent agency G-Star.Pro.

Kouhei Takeda Japanese actor

Kouhei Takeda is a Japanese actor, entertainer and model. He is best known for his roles as Kohei Kitahanada in Fuji TV's Hanazakari no Kimitachi e/Ikemen Paradise drama, Otoya Kurenai and Kazumi Sawatari in TV Asahi's tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Kiva and Kamen Rider Build, and the voice of Vaan in Final Fantasy XII. In 2001, he received the 14th "Super Boy JUNON contest" special jury award. He is a former member of the PureBOYS.

Tetra-Fang is a Japanese pop-rock band considered a "limited rock unit" and was formed to perform songs on the soundtrack for the 2008 Kamen Rider Series Kamen Rider Kiva.

Reika Nakayama, better known by her stage name Ray, is a Japanese singer and radio personality from Hokkaido. She signed to Geneon Universal Entertainment.

Ayami Mutō is a Japanese idol, singer, and model. She was represented by Amuse, Inc. from 2004 to 2015, and has been a member of three musical groups formed by the company: Karen Girl's, Sakura Gakuin, and its first sub-unit Twinklestars.

Funky Kato Japanese singer

Shunsuke Kato, known by his stage name Funky Kato, is a Japanese singer-songwriter. He is best known as the vocalist of the band Funky Monkey Babys, which disbanded in 2013.

Minami Kato is a Japanese singer and actress. She is a member of AKB48's sister group NGT48 as a kenkyūsei and was the 2nd captain of the former Team NIII.

Takumi-kun Series: Soshite Harukaze ni Sasayaite is a 2007 Japanese film based on the novel of the same name by Shinobu Gotoh. The film is directed by Kazuhiro Yokoyama and stars Tomo Yanagishita as Takumi Hayama and Keisuke Katō as Giichi Saki. The film was released in Japan on December 22, 2007. It is the first movie of five.

Real Fake is a Japanese television mini-series that aired on MBS on the channel's programming block, Dramaism. The series was written and directed by Nobuhiro Mouri, with production by Dub, Inc. The production stars Yoshihiko Aramaki, Keisuke Ueda, Ren Ozawa, Ryuji Sato, Ryunosuke Matsumura, Toshiyuki Someya, and Shouta Aoi, all of whom have been involved in 2.5D musicals.
