Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) is a public community college in Baltimore, Maryland. It is the only community college in the city and the only state-sponsored community college in the state. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). It was founded in 1947 and has about 5,000 students enrolled in one of its campuses.

Adam William Herbert, Jr. is a United States retired academic administrator. He served as President of the University of North Florida from 1989 to 1998, as Chancellor of the State University System of Florida from 1998 to 2001, and as President of Indiana University from 2003 to 2007. He was the first African-American to hold the latter two positions. He announced his retirement from Indiana University in 2007, and was succeeded by Michael McRobbie.

The College of Computer Studies (CCS) is one of the eight colleges of De La Salle University. It was established in 1981 as the Center for Planning, Information, and Computer Science offering only a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. The department was formally declared as a college in 1984. In 1990, the college was transferred to its new building, the INTELLECT Building, which was eventually renamed as the Gokongwei Building. In 1996 the college was granted semi-autonomous status along with the Graduate School of Business which led to the establishment of De La Salle-Professional Schools, Inc. She was Consultant to the White House Chief of Staff for nine months during the Clinton years.

The Honors College at University of Maryland, College Park is home to six living-learning programs that serve over 4,000 of the University's undergraduate students with an academic and residential experience. Anne Arundel Hall and LaPlata Hall house the administrative offices of the Honors College. Anne Arundel Hall and the Ellicott Community are the center of Honors College student life. New Honors dorms are in the process of being built.
