Q & A with Dean Martin is an album by Melbourne, Australia-based rock band Something for Kate. It is a re-release of the entire 1996 ....The Answer to Both Your Questions EP (Tracks 1 to 7) together with the Dean Martin single (Tracks 8 to 10), both of which were out of print and still in demand by fans. Despite a 50+ minute running time, Q & A with Dean Martin is considered to be a 'mini-album'.

Something for Kate

Something for Kate are an Australian alternative rock band, which formed in 1994 with Paul Dempsey on lead vocals and guitar, and Clint Hyndman on drums. They were joined in 1998 by Stephanie Ashworth on bass guitar and backing vocals. The group have released six studio albums: both The Official Fiction (2003) and Desert Lights (2006) topped the ARIA Albums Chart; while Beautiful Sharks (1999), Echolalia (2001) and Leave Your Soul to Science (2012) reached the top 10. Two of their singles have reached the ARIA top 20: "Monsters" (2001) and "Déjà Vu" (2003). The band have received a total of 11 nominations for ARIA Music Awards in 1999, 2001 and 2003.

....The Answer to Both Your Questions is a 1996 EP by Something for Kate. The album reportedly title came from the bands' frontman Paul Dempsey asking a friend for suggestions for what to name the EP. His response was, "The answer to both your questions is 'Porn'". Although Dempsey didn't take this advice, he thought the answer was "a good title".

After touring their previous album, Fragile, the group assembled at Advision Studios in London to record a follow-up, ideas for which had been put down since February 1972. The album marked a development in the band's songwriting, with Jon Anderson and Steve Howe writing the 18-minute title track, the band's longest song at the time. Side two contains "And You and I" and "Siberian Khatru". Bruford found the album particularly laborious to make, which influenced his decision to leave the band after it was recorded.

Ween is an American alternative rock band formed in New Hope, Pennsylvania, in 1984 by childhood friends Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo, better known by their respective stage names, Gene and Dean Ween. After meeting in a middle-school typing class, the two began playing music and immediately chose the name Ween as well as their Ramones-inspired pseudonyms. Ween performed as a duo backed by a Digital Audio Tape for the band's first ten years of existence before expanding to a four- piece act. Kasseem Daoud Dean, known professionally as Swizz Beatz, is an American record producer, rapper, DJ, and entrepreneur from New York City. Born and raised in The Bronx, Dean began his musical career as a disc jockey (DJ). At the age of 16, he gained recognition in the hip hop industry through his friendship and work with East Coast rapper DMX and his familys' Ruff Ryders Entertainment record label. Dean later found a protégé in Philadelphia-based rapper Cassidy, whose success helped the launch of his own label imprint, Full Surface Records in 1999. He went on to sign multiple artists to the label, including Eve, Mashonda, and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. Originally released as Reprise LP R(S)-6054, the album's tracks made their CD debut as part of the Bear Family box set Everybody Loves Somebody.
