Reception and impact

According to a 30 under 30 listing on Forbes QuillBot has a user base that includes both free and premium subscribers. The listing also states that on August 2023, QuillBot was acquired by Course Hero. [5] On August 21st 2021, Course Hero published an announcement stating it had acquired QuillBot. [6]

Education

Research from 2021 proposed that QuillBot could potentially be used for paraphrasing tasks, but indicated the importance of English language proficiency for using it properly. [7] [8] [9]
