Quincy Stewart

Quincy Jermaine Stewart (born March 27, 1978) is a former American football and Canadian football player. He played college football at Louisiana Tech University and high school football at John Tyler High School.

Stewart was born and raised in Tyler, Texas by his parents with his 3 siblings (2 brothers and a sister).

Stewart was on the John Tyler Lions high school team that went 16–0 and won the 1994 class 5A Division II state championship of Texas, a season that included a memorable regional semifinal against Plano East Senior High School.

Stewart played in the National Football League (NFL) for the San Francisco 49ers team during the 2001 season and 2002 season and the New York Jets during the 2003 season. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2004 but was released during training camp. [1] Stewart played for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League during the 2005 season and the 2006 season and was part of the team that won the 93rd Grey Cup in 2005. He was released in February 2007.

In 2008–2009, Stewart was working as a biology teacher in Spring Woods High School in Houston, Texas. As of 2014 he was on the coaching staff of the McCallum High School Knights football team. In 2015, he was the head basketball coach at Danbury High School in Danbury, Texas. He left Danbury in 2017 to be the Head Football Coach for Venus High School. In 2018, he became one of the Defensive Coaches at Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas specializing with the linebackers. In January 2020, he started his role as head coach for the Sam Houston Hurricanes in San Antonio, Texas. [2]

He currently resides in San Antonio, Texas with his wife and 4 daughters

He is currently the defensive coordinator for Hebron high school in Carrollton, Texas. He has been the defensive coordinator there for three seasons.

Tony De'Angelo Simmons is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans and New York Giants. He has also played for the Edmonton Eskimos, BC Lions of the Canadian Football League, Triangle Razorbacks in the National Ligaen in Denmark and for the Békéscsaba Raptors in the Hungarian American Football League.

Chris Palmer is an American former football coach and college athletics administrator. Palmer served as the head coach for Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL) from 1999 to 2000 and in the same capacity with the Hartford Colonials of the United Football League (UFL) in 2010. He was the head football coach at the University of New Haven from 1986 to 1987 and at Boston University from 1988 to 1989. Vance Desmond Joseph is an American football coach and former player who is the defensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes as a quarterback and running back in the 1990s, and was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 1995, playing cornerback for them and then the Indianapolis Colts in 1996. After spending 12 years as a defensive coach in the NFL with San Francisco (2005–10), Houston (2011–13), Cincinnati (2014–15) and Miami (2016), Joseph was hired as head coach by the Denver Broncos in 2017, serving until he was fired after the 2018 season. Antonio Demarcus Wilson is an American former professional football linebacker who played for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL) from 2000 to 2002. He was selected by the Vikings in the fourth round of the 2000 NFL draft after playing college football for the Texas A&M–Commerce Lions. He was also a member of the Houston Texans of the NFL and the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League.

Eddie Ray Vowell is a retired American football coach. He is best known for serving as head football coach at Texas A&M University–Commerce from 1986 to 1998. He is second in program history with 73 career wins and led the Lions to the 1990 Lone Star Conference championship and appearances in the NCAA Division II playoffs in 1990, 1991, and 1995.
