Quincy Stewart

Quincy Jermaine Stewart (born March 27, 1978) is a former American football and Canadian football player. He played college football at Louisiana Tech University and high school football at John Tyler High School.

Stewart was born and raised in Tyler, Texas by his parents with his 3 siblings (2 brothers and a sister).

Stewart was on the John Tyler Lions high school team that went 16–0 and won the 1994 class 5A Division II state championship of Texas, a season that included a memorable regional semifinal against Plano East Senior High School.

Stewart played in the National Football League (NFL) for the San Francisco 49ers team during the 2001 season and 2002 season and the New York Jets during the 2003 season. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2004 but was released during training camp. [1] Stewart played for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League during the 2005 season and the 2006 season and was part of the team that won the 93rd Grey Cup in 2005. He was released in February 2007.

In 2008–2009, Stewart was working as a biology teacher in Spring Woods High School in Houston, Texas. As of 2014 he was on the coaching staff of the McCallum High School Knights football team. In 2015, he was the head basketball coach at Danbury High School in Danbury, Texas. He left Danbury in 2017 to be the Head Football Coach for Venus High School. In 2018, he became one of the Defensive Coaches at Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas specializing with the linebackers. In January 2020, he started his role as head coach for the Sam Houston Hurricanes in San Antonio, Texas. [2]

The San Antonio Riders were a professional American football team that played in the WLAF in 1991 and 1992. The team played at Alamo Stadium in San Antonio in 1991 and then were forced to move to Bobcat Stadium on the campus of Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, 45 miles (72 km) northeast of San Antonio, for the 1992 season after the San Antonio Independent School District refused to allow the sale of beer at WLAF games or the display of beer advertising at Alamo Stadium. In return, Riders ownership scrapped plans to fund $235,000 in renovations to the Stadium. In June 1991, SAISD officials announced plans for a rent increase on the Riders for the 1992 season. The relationship would last for only one season.

Joseph Carlton Ferguson Jr. is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback for 17 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), primarily with the Buffalo Bills. Judson High School is a public, co-educational secondary school in Converse, Texas, United States, 15 miles northeast of downtown San Antonio. It was established in 1959 as part of the Judson Independent School District, and is currently classified as a 6A school by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). He spent four seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the San Diego Chargers, Denver Broncos, and Kansas City Chiefs, during which he played in nine games all during the strike-shortened 1987 season. He played three games as a "scab" for Denver, the year they went to Super Bowl XXII, but he was ineligible to share in the bonus as he resigned with the Chiefs. Woodard played college football at Kilgore College and the University of Texas at Austin.

Jason James Lamar is a former American football linebacker who played one season with the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Toledo and attended Ypsilanti High School in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He was also a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Montreal Alouettes, and Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
