R. D. Raja is an Indian film producer, creative producer, lyricist and movie promotion consultant who primarily works in the Tamil film Industry also known for his films produced in Tamil cinema through his production company, 24AM Studios.

Early years

R. D. Raja started his career as promotion consultant. He promoted movies like Boss Engira Bhaskaran , 7am Arivu , Vazhakku Enn 18/9 , Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga , and Jilla . He worked as creative producer for films like Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam , and Maan Karate . In 2016, R. D. Raja debuts as a fully-fledged film producer, where he produced Remo under debutant Bakiyaraj Kannan's directorial, which has Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh in the lead, and the film opened to positive reviews. [1] R. D. Raja collaborates with Sivakarthikeyan again, in Mohan Raja's film, Velaikkaran which are released in 2017. R. D. Raja subsequently producing director Ponram's latest film, titled Seema Raja, where Sivakarthikeyan plays the lead role. He also signed a film with Sivakarthikeyan again, under R. Ravikumar's directorial. [2]

Remo is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, in his directorial debut and produced by R. D. Raja under 24AM Studios. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh, while Sathish, Rajendran, Aadukalam Naren, Anson Paul, K. S. Ravikumar, Saranya Ponvannan and Sri Divya portray supporting roles. The cinematography was handled by P. C. Sreeram, and editing work was done by Ruben. Sound designer Resul Pookutty, was also a part of the film. The soundtrack album and background score has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the soundtrack received positive response, upon release. The film follows an aspiring actor who decides to don as a female nurse, to test his acting skills and also to win the hearts of his lady love, who is a doctor by profession.

Seemaraja is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language masala film written and directed by Ponram, marking his 3rd collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan, after Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajinimurugan. The movie was produced by R. D. Raja. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan in a double role with Simran and lal negative role along with Samantha, with a supporting cast including Soori, Napoleon, and Keerthy Suresh in a cameo appearance. The film features music composed by D. Imman and cinematography by Balasubramaniam. The movie was released on 13 September 2018, coinciding with the festival of Vinayagar Chathurthi.

Hero is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language superhero film directed by P. S. Mithran, who co-wrote the film with Pon Parthiban, Savari Muthu and Antony Bhagyaraj. The film was produced by Kotapadi J. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan and Aishwarya Rajesh, with a supporting cast including Anu Emmanuel, Samuthirakani, Soori, Bharathiraja, and Natarajan Subramaniam. The movie marks the third collaboration between Pandiraj and Sivakarthikeyan after Marina and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga. The music for the film is scored by D. Imman, while cinematography and editing is handled by Nirav Shah and Ruben. The film released on 27 September 2019. The film received positive response from audience and become a successful venture at the box office.
