R. N. Kittusamy is an Indian politician from Tamil Nadu. He represents the Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party. [1] He was the member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from the Modakurichi constituency.
Kittusamy was the chairman of Erode Central Co-operative Bank during 1994-96 and has been secretary of the Erode district unit of the party labour wing since 2006. He has been appointed as Erode (Urban) district AIADMK secretary on 22 December 2013.

It was the largest district by area in the state before the formation of Tirupur district in 2009 and is the third largest by area,as of 2024. The headquarters of the district is Erode. K C Palanisamy is an Indian politician,former Member of Parliament (MP) and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Tamil Nadu (TN). A former member of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK),he served the Dravidian party founded by former Chief Minister (CM) of Tamil Nadu,M G Ramachandran (MGR) on 17 October 1972. He was born and raised in Chennimalai,Erode District of Tamil Nadu. At the age of 9,K C Palanisamy met MGR and got influenced by the mission and vision of AIADMK. His political career began aged 13. In 1972,he joined AIADMK as a party member. K C Palanisamy was handpicked by former CM of Tamil Nadu,MGR as Deputy District Secretary of AIADMK’s Youth Wing in 1982,at the age of 23. In 1984,he was elected as the party’s youngest Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Kangeyam constituency in Thiruppur District. In 1989,K C Palanisamy chosen to contest in Assembly election as Member of Parliament (MP) by Jayalalitha and won with the second highest vote difference Nationally and highest difference in the State.
Erode Venkata Krishnasamy Sampath Elangovan is an Indian politician who is a current member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly,representing the Erode East Assembly constituency. He previously represented the Gobichettipalayam Lok Sabha constituency of Tamil Nadu and was the Textiles Minister for the Union Government between 2004 and 2009,in Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh Government. Erode Venkatappa Krishnasamy Sampath,usually referred to as E. V. K. Sampath was a prominent politician from Tamil Nadu,India. He was an advocate of the Dravidian Movement of Periyar E. V.
