R. N. Kittusamy is an Indian politician from Tamil Nadu. He represents the Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party. [1] He was the member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from the Modakurichi constituency.

Kittusamy was the chairman of Erode Central Co-operative Bank during 1994-96 and has been secretary of the Erode district unit of the party labour wing since 2006. He has been appointed as Erode (Urban) district AIADMK secretary on 22 December 2013.

Erode Venkatappa Krishnasamy Sampath(c. 5 March 1926 – 23 February 1977), usually referred to as E. V. K. Sampath was a prominent politician from Tamil Nadu, India. He was an advocate of the Dravidian Movement of Periyar E. V. Ramasamy and was considered by some as his political heir. 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election Indian state election

The Sixteenth Legislative Assembly Election was held on 6 April 2021, to elect representatives from the 234 constituencies in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) won the election, ending the decade-long reign of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). The DMK's leader M. K. Stalin became the eighth Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, and the 12th Chief Minister since the 1956 reorganization. He replaced Edappadi K. Palaniswami of the AIADMK.
