RK Ljubljana (full name Rugby klub Ljubljana, English: Rugby Club Ljubljana) is a rugby union club in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It participates in the Regional Rugby Championship. The club was founded in 1962.

Velenje is Slovenia's sixth-largest city, and the seat of the Municipality of Velenje. The city is located in northeastern Slovenia, among the rolling green hills of the Šalek Valley, with the Kamnik–Savinja Alps to the west and the Pohorje Mountains to the east.

Gorenje also participated in the EHF competitions for many seasons, including the EHF Cup, the EHF Cup Winners' Cup, and the EHF Champions League. The club is part of the academic sports club Mladost. The club was founded on January 17, 1954 at the inaugural meeting in the Great Hall of the Technical Faculty in Zagreb. This date is considered the formal beginning of rugby union in Croatia. The club plays at the Mladost Sports Park in Zagreb.
