Rabarama, pseudonym of Paola Epifani, (born August 22, 1969) is an Italian contemporary artist. [1]
Rabarama creates sculptures and paintings of men, women and hybrid creatures, often in eccentric poses. [2] [3] The skins of her subjects are always decorated with patterns, symbols, letters, glyphs and other kind of figures, in a great variety of forms. [4]
Rabarama monumental sculptures have been exhibited in many public spaces [5]
In 2011 the world's first 360° video mapping on a sculpture was realized on a Rabarama's work called "Bozzolo" and exhibited live in Florence, Italy. [6] [7]
The Salimbeni Prize is awarded by the Fondazione Salimbeni per le Arti Figurative of San Severino Marche to honour excellence in the writing of art history on an Italian subject. The Premio Salimbeni was established in 1983.
Piero Manzoni di Chiosca e Poggiolo, better known as Piero Manzoni was an Italian artist best known for his ironic approach to avant-garde art. Often compared to the work of Yves Klein, his own work anticipated, and directly influenced, the work of a generation of younger Italian artists brought together by the critic Germano Celant in the first Arte Povera exhibition held in Genoa, 1967. Manzoni is most famous for a series of artworks that call into question the nature of the art object, directly prefiguring Conceptual Art. His work eschews normal artist's materials, instead using everything from rabbit fur to human excrement in order to "tap mythological sources and to realize authentic and universal values".

RisAlto is an international exposition of contemporary art that was organized annually in the medieval castle of Camino, Piedmont, between 2001 and 2010. The project is an idea of the artists Marco Porta and Mari Brignolo. Risalto was the first modern art exhibition in the world that presented mosaics reproduced exclusively in coloured rice. International artists were invited to design the mosaics, that were then produced by the creators of the event in collaboration with the artists.
Alessandro Vezzosi is an Italian art critic, Leonardo scholar, artist, expert on interdisciplinary studies and creative museology, he is also the author of hundreds of exhibits, publications and conferences, in Italy and abroad on Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance, contemporary art and design.
