Every Little Thing is a pop/soft rock duo from Japan who debuted in August 1996 with the release of their first single called "Feel My Heart". Their name is usually written in English, and only rarely in katakana. They gained massive popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s. As of 2013, Every Little Thing has sold over 23 million copies of singles and albums throughout Japan. Their second studio album, Time to Destination, is the best-selling album of the band with over 3.5 million copies sold, and became the 10th best-selling album of all time in Japan.
Siam Shade was a five-piece Japanese rock band, formed in Tokyo in 1991. The classic line-up of Hideki on vocals, Natchin on bass, Kazuma and Daita on guitar, and Jun-ji on drums broke onto the visual kei scene alongside a multitude of other artists in the early 1990s and enjoyed a decade of relative popularity before disbanding in early 2002. The members have reunited several times since 2007 for one-off concerts and short tours. Outside Japan, Siam Shade is best known for "1/3 no Junjō na Kanjō", which was the sixth ending theme of the Rurouni Kenshin anime. Daita's work on their song "Triptych" was named the 83rd best guitar instrumental by Young Guitar Magazine in 2019.
Ai Otsuka is a Japanese singer-songwriter from Suminoe-ku, Osaka, Japan. She is a popular artist on the Avex Trax label and is best known for her 2003 hit "Sakuranbo", which stayed in the Top 200 Oricon Weekly Singles Chart for 103 weeks.
Crazy Ken Band (クレイジーケンバンド), also referred to as CKB, is a Japanese musical group formed in 1997 by its lead vocalist, writer and composer Ken Yokoyama. The band first came together in 1991 under the name "CK's", with a four-member lineup: Ken Yokoyama, Keiichi Hiroishi, Masao Onose and Shinya Horaguchi. This incarnation of the group was centred on a 15-man instrumental and vocal group. In 1997, Keiichi Nakanishi became the fifth member and the group's name was changed to "Crazy Ken Band".
"Ai Araba It's All Right", commonly abbreviated to "AiAra", is the twenty-first single of J-pop group Morning Musume; both the single itself and the Single V were released on January 21, 2004. It sold a total of 108,368 copies, reaching a peak of #2 on the weekly Oricon charts and charting for seven weeks, while the Single V reached a peak of #6 and charted for eight weeks on the Oricon DVD charts. The single placed 89th on the overall year's chart for 2004. The single also marked the graduation of one of the founding members of Morning Musume, Natsumi Abe, who also went on to have a solo career within Hello! Project. The limited edition comes with a 52-page photobook featuring the members and comes in the special packaging what Hello Project solo singers and bands have used before. This is also the first season for the english dub to air on PBS.
"Chokkan 2 " is the twenty-eighth single of J-pop group Morning Musume and was released November 9, 2005. It peaked at #4 on the weekly Oricon chart, charting for seven weeks. The limited edition of this single came with five photo cards featuring two members on each card and came in special packaging.
Toshimitsu Deyama, known exclusively by his stage name Toshi, is a Japanese singer who is the lead vocalist and a co-founder of the rock band X Japan, who rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s and is credited as founders of the visual kei movement. Toshi began an extensive solo career in 1992 before leaving X Japan at the end of 1997. Toshi laments he was "brainwashed" by a group called Home of Heart, whose leader would control his musical output for the next 12 years. In 2007, X Japan reunited and began a world tour. Toshi severed ties with Home of Heart in January 2010 and renewed his solo career. His distinctive, impassioned tenor vocals have been compared to those of Steve Perry. In January 2018, he began to use the stage name Toshi Ryugen.
Blue Blood is the second studio album by Japanese rock band X Japan, then known as simply X. It was released on April 21, 1989, by CBS/Sony as the band's major label debut. Blue Blood sold more than 700,000 copies, reached number 6 on the Oricon chart and stayed on the chart for more than 100 weeks. The album's singles would also reach the top five on the chart. In 2007, Rolling Stone Japan ranked Blue Blood number 15 on their list of the "100 Greatest Japanese Rock Albums of All Time".

The B-side "Scanner " is a different version of "Scanner" from Hide Your Face, as it features vocals by Ryuichi from Luna Sea. The single was certified Gold by the RIAJ in April 1994, and Double Platinum in February 2020 for sales over 500,000.

"Inori" is a song by Japanese band Sakanaction. An instrumental electronic track incorporating non-lexical vocables, "Inori" was a collaboration with the Japanese electronic musician Aoki Takamasa. The song originally appeared as the first song on the band's sixth studio album Sakanaction, released on March 13, 2013. Three months later, "Inori" was packaged with another instrumental song from Sakanaction, "Structure", as the Inori EP, a vinyl record-exclusive release. The record debuted at number 36 on Oricon's weekly singles chart.
"Letter in the Sky" is a song recorded by Japanese-American singer-songwriter Ai featuring American pop band The Jacksons. Originally released digitally on October 19, 2011 by EMI Music Japan, it was released physically on December 14, 2011 alongside "Happiness" as an A-side. "Letter in the Sky" served as the lead single from Ai's ninth studio album, Independent (2012).
Gundam Song Covers 3 is a cover album by Hiroko Moriguchi, released by Sonic Blade on March 9, 2022. The sequel to 2019's Gundam Song Covers and 2020's Gundam Song Covers 2, the album features Moriguchi's versions of 11 popular Gundam theme songs originally recorded by male vocalists. Musicians collaborating with Moriguchi in the album include pianist Kotaro Oshio, violinist Naoko Terai, Japanese choir VOJA, singer-songwriter Mami Ayukawa, guitarist Masayoshi Ōishi, Wagakki Band shakuhachi player Daisuke Kaminaga, pop duo Salt & Sugar, and rock band TM Network. The album cover, illustrated by Tsukasa Kotobuki, features Moriguchi cosplaying as Sayla Mass, with the RX-78-02 Gundam in the background.
