Radha Krishna Kumar (born 2 August 1984) is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works primarily in Telugu cinema.

Early life and career

He made his directorial debut Jil [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] produced by UV Creations. He worked as an assistant director under Chandra Sekhar Yeleti for the films Anukokunda Oka Roju (2005), [6] Okkadunnadu (2007), Prayanam (2009) [7] and Sahasam (2013). [3] [8] His recent film, with Prabhas titled as Radhe Shyam and produced by UV creations and T-Series, has released on March 11, 2022.[ citation needed ]

He wrote screenplays and dialogues for Prayanam and Sahasam , for which he worked as 1st assistant director as well. He debuted as a director with Jil (2015). [1] [2] [3]

It stars Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, Samuthirakani, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. Produced by B. Madhu under Saraswathi Films Division banner and based on multiple true incidents that took place in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the film depicts the conflict between a circle inspector and a gangster. The film's narrative style is inspired from 2018 Kannada film Tagaru.

The SIIMA Award for Best Film – Telugu is presented by Vibri media group as part of its annual South Indian International Movie Awards for Telugu films. The award was first given in 2012 for films released in 2011.

Pakka Commercial is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language legal action comedy film written and directed by Maruthi and produced by UV Creations and GA2 Pictures. The film stars Gopichand and Raashii Khanna. It was released on 1 July 2022, and received mixed reviews from critics and audience. Following its acquisition by Aha, Pakka Commercial premiered on 4 August 2022.
