Radio Bhumi 92.8 FM is a Dhaka-based private radio station in Bangladesh. It is well known for its sports commentary coverage. [1] "Bishwashey Bangladesh" is the tagline of Radio Bhumi 92.8 FM. And undoubtedly this firm is determined to go ahead with this slogan. Radio Bhumi 92.8 FM is the first private FM radio station in the country who broadcast Bengali song only. The radio station has developed a unique production house with modern audio equipment with latest facilities. In the last few years, this organization has produced various social and commercial works including educational, entertainment, documentaries, motivational, sports commentary etc. [2] [3] [4] [5] It is a subsidiary of the Impress Group, and a sister concern to the Channel i television network. [6] The station began transmission on 30 September 2012.[ citation needed ] But nowadays, radio stations are not doing well in Bangladesh, and people are not very listening to radio. [7] [8]

Channel i is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language satellite and cable television channel owned by Impress Group. It was launched on 1 October 1995, as Bangladesh's first digital television channel. It is one of the oldest satellite television channels in Bangladesh. Channel i is broadcast via satellite television using PanAmSat and Bangabandhu-1, covering most of Asia and parts of Australia. It is sister to the radio station, Radio Bhumi. It was available on digital OTT streaming platforms like JioTV, NexGTV ,YuppTV, Sling TV and Etisalat.

The FM broadcasting in India began in 1977, but boomed after 2001 when the privatisation of FM broadcasting began. AIR's FM LRS was inaugurated on 1 July 2000 at 06:00 hours in Kodaikanal relaying Madurai programs in the frequency 100.5 MHz. 100.5 was so popular that LRS was upgraded to an FM Channel in just two months. The channel covered a radius of about 200km due to its location at 2200 meters above MSL at Kodaikanal. KODAI FM is popularly known as it is the biggest individual FM channel in India, in both area coverage and listenership.

Bangladesh Betar, or BB is the state-owned radio broadcaster of Bangladesh, initially established as the Dhaka station of All India Radio in 1939. It was later made part of Radio Pakistan. After the independence of the country in 1971, Radio Pakistan ceased transmissions there and the Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra was renamed to Bangladesh Betar, which took full control of all radio stations in the country at the time.

Television is one of the most popular forms of media and information in Bangladesh. It is based on the novel of the same name by Shahidullah Kaiser.

Radio Next 93.2 FM is a Bangladeshi private radio station. The radio launched on 6 May 2015 and it was available in all parts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. But this radio has been defunct without any announcement. The station broadcasts from 8 am to midnight. Its brand new slogan "The Happiest Radio On Earth" has been a part of re-branding on the occasion of its third anniversary in 2018. Since its inception, Radio Next previously used the tagline "More Music, More Fun!"

Faruque Ahmed is a playwright and actor in Bangladesh. He started his acting career by acting on stage while studying at the department of Geography and Environment of Jahangirnagar University. He was introduced across the country by playing a negative role called Rasik Lal in Baro rokom manus broadcast on Bangladesh Television. He was a regular face of popular playwright and writer Humayun Ahmed's drama.
