Radiocalypse is the fourth studio album by American rock band Downplay, released on May 29, 2012. [3] [4] It is the final album with guitarist Trevor Connor before his death in late 2012. [5]
In addition to seven new original songs, the album contains rerecordings of two older Downplay songs. [6] "Save Me" was previously released on their 2009 EP Rise. Fall. Repeat. [7] "Sleep" was originally released on their 2007 album A Day Without Gravity , [8] and also on Rise. Fall. Repeat. with a different arrangement. [9] The arrangement on Radiocalypse is closer to the arrangement on Rise. Fall. Repeat. [10] [11]
The album also includes Downplay's first recorded cover song, "Talking in Your Sleep" by The Romantics.
"Hated You From Hello" was used by WWE in 2011. [12]
A music video for "Where Did You Go" was filmed at Downplay's show at the Newport Music Hall in Columbus, OH on June 2, 2012. [13] [14]
A song called "Dark on Me" was recorded during the sessions for Radiocalypse, but was ultimately not included. The song was rearranged by lead singer Dustin Bates for his new project Starset, and appears on their debut album Transmissions. [15] The original Downplay version resurfaced on YouTube in 2016. [16]

Against Me! Is Reinventing Axl Rose is the debut album by the American punk rock band Against Me!, released on March 5, 2002 under No Idea Records. It was the group's first release as a full band with electric guitars, bass guitar, and drums. The album was produced by Rob McGregor, who would also produce the band's second album Against Me! as the Eternal Cowboy (2003). The album's title references Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose, illustrated on the cover.

Sleeps with Angels is the 22nd studio album by Canadian-American musician Neil Young, released on August 16, 1994, on Reprise as a double LP and as a single CD. The album is Young's seventh with Crazy Horse. Co-produced by David Briggs, the album is Young's last with his long-time producer, who died the following year. The title track was written and recorded as a tribute to Kurt Cobain in wake of his suicide. Although the rest of the album was recorded before that event, the album takes on a somber, subdued tone throughout. Musician and author Ken Viola described the album as one of Young's "top five records. It examines the nature of dreams — both the light and dark side — and how they fuel reality in the nineties. Dreams are the only thing that we've got left to hang on to."
The Bruce Springsteen with the Seeger Sessions Band Tour, afterward sometimes referred to simply as the Sessions Band Tour, was a 2006 concert tour featuring Bruce Springsteen and the Sessions Band playing what was billed as "An all-new evening of gospel, folk, and blues", otherwise seen as a form of big band folk music. Stephen Aiello is an American songwriter, musician, and record producer. He is best known for touring and recording with American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars. He was one of the founding members of Monty Are I, a band he formed in 1998 with some friends. Aiello has also worked with artists such as Mumford & Sons, Cheyenne Jackson, Lana Del Rey, Junkie XL, Young Guns, Cobra Starship, Every Avenue, Starset, and The Knocks, among others.

Written by Dustin Bates (Starset) and Jasen Rauch for Bates' prior band, Downplay in 2011, the song was re-recorded in 2022 and released as a single in August 2022. As of February 2023, the Starset and Breaking Benjamin version peaked at number one on the Mediabase Active Rock chart and number two on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
