Raghavji (born 7 July 1934) is an Indian politician. He was a member of Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha from Vidisha. He had been a member of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. He served as a cabinet minister (finance minister) in the Bharatiya Janata Party ministry in Madhya Pradesh state until early July 2013. He resigned over allegations of sexually harassing domestic help on 5 July 2013. [1] He was expelled from the BJP and later arrested from an apartment in Bhopal on 5 July 2013. [2] Almost 10 years later, MP high court later quashed the FIR against him in June 2023. [3]

The Vyapam scam was an entrance examination, admission and recruitment scam. It was functional since the 1990s and was finally unearthed in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh in 2013.

Ramesh Mendola is an Indian politician of BJP from Indore who has been a member of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Indore-2 since 2008. In the previous election held in 2013 he won from this constituency by a record margin of over 91000 votes. Repeating his performance in 2018 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, Mendola again won from this seat by a record margin of over 71000 votes retaining the title of largest victory margin winner of the newly elected assembly. He is the President of Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association.

Chaudhary Rakesh Singh Chaturvedi Indian politician

Chaudhary Rakesh Singh Chaturvedi is an Indian politician of the Indian National Congress party from Madhya Pradesh. Hailing from the Chambal region, he has been a four-time Member of Legislative Assembly of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the Bhind constituency since 1990. Previously, he had served the 13th Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly as the deputy leader of the opposition and as the leader of the opposition. Prior to that, he was a minister in Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh's cabinet between 1998 and 2003.
