Rahul Salanke, popularly known as RK Rahul is an Indian actor, primarily from Kannada cinema. [1] [2] [3]
He made his acting debut in Nannusire in 2008. He is best known for his performance in the Kannada movie Jigarthanda produced by Kannada cinema actor Sudeep's company - Kichcha Creations. [4] [5] [6] He is also known for his performance as a VJ and television host for 'Ondu Prashne Ondu Haadu' TV show on Udaya Music. [7] [8]
He is an opening batsman for Karnataka Bulldozers in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). [9]
Rahul Salanke was born on 14 May 1989 in Bangalore, Karnataka. He completed his schooling from St. Joseph's College, Bangalore and Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College, Bangalore. Rahul obtained his MBA degree from Symbiosis International University.
Rahul is the first actor to be launched by Sudeep as a main lead in his home production. [10] [11] [12]
His movie Jigarthanda (2016) has been his most successful movie to date. [13] [14] Directed by Shiva Ganesh, the film was a remake of the Tamil film Jigarthanda (2014), featuring actor Siddharth. [15]

Singanalluru Puttaswamaiah Muthuraj, better known by his stage name Dr. Rajkumar, was an Indian actor and singer who worked in Kannada cinema. Kotigobba 2 in Kannada Mudinja Ivana Pudi in Tamil is a 2016 Indian action film directed by K. S. Ravikumar. The film features Sudeepa and Nithya Menen in the lead roles. The film was simultaneously produced by Rockline Venkatesh and M. Babu in Kannada and Tamil languages. Despite the title, the film is not a sequel to the 2001 film, Kotigobba. The film revolves around Sathya, a real estate agent, who disguises himself as a professional robber and loots wealthy people. When the police begins their investigation, he tries to convince them that his identical twin brother Shiva is the culprit.

The film was a remake of 2014 Tamil film of same name which itself was inspired by the 2006 South Korean movie A Dirty Carnival. It stars Rahul and Samyukta Hornad along with P. Ravi Shankar, Chikkanna, Dharma, K. Manju, Guruprasad, Sadhu Kokila and Veena Sundar in supporting roles. Arjun Janya composed film's score and soundtrack. It was released on 24 June 2016.

Kotigobba 3 is a 2021 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film directed by Shiva Karthik. The film features Sudeepa and Madonna Sebastian marking the latter's debut in Kannada cinema, in lead roles with Nawab Shah as the main antagonist along with Shraddha Das, Aftab Shivdasani and P. Ravi Shankar in prominent roles. It is a standalone sequel to the 2016 film Kotigobba 2, with Sudeepa and Ravi Shankar reprising their roles from the previous film. The film was released in theatres on October 15, 2021. In the sequel, Sathya has to deal with Interpol, who framed him as an international criminal and also deal with his old-nemesis ACP Kishore, who wants to avenge him for his treachery.
