Jain University is an Indian deemed university based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In August 2019, Jain University opened its off campus in Kochi, Kerala.
Jain (Deemed-to-be University) originates from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College (SBMJC), established by the founder and chairman of Jain Group, Chenraj Roychand [2] in 1990. [3] It was conferred deemed to be university status in 2009. [4]
Jain (Deemed-to-be University) offers more than 200 UG and PG programs in commerce, sciences, humanities and arts, engineering and technology and management. [5] It also offers courses for working professionals in the field of Business Administration, Engineering and Information technology. The University also provides online UG programs like BBA [6] and BCOM, [7] and online PG programs such as MCA, [8] MBA, [9] [10] M.Com, and MA. [11]
