Marathahalli is an eastern suburb of Bangalore city in Karnataka state of India. The ISRO Headquarters is located near Marathahalli. The Marathahalli main road is connected to Whitefield, ITPL and the Outer Ring Road, Bangalore.

Connectivity

A six-lane road overbridge near Marathahalli Junction connects Kundalahalli area and HAL Airport Road. Marathahalli has emerged as a major bus stop for long distance Buses from Bangalore. The international airport is located at a distance of 46 km from Marathahalli through the Outer Ring Road and Bangalore Hyderabad Highway. The nearest railway station from Marathahalli is located at Krishnarajapuram railway station which is at a distance of 7.7 km [2] [3] [4]

Namma Metro, also known as Bengaluru Metro, is a rapid transit system serving the city of Bengaluru, the capital city of the state of Karnataka, India. Upon its inauguration in 2011, it became the first underground metro system in South India. Namma Metro has a mix of underground, at grade, and elevated stations. Old Airport Road is a major road in Bangalore, India. It was renamed from Airport Road after the new Bengaluru International Airport was opened at Devanahalli. Madivala Machideva Road is a 17 km stretch road which begins from the junction of Trinity Church Road and Victoria Road and goes to HAL Bangalore International Airport, Marathahalli, Varthur. Beyond that, the road officially becomes Varthur Road, but since the real estate boom started around 2003, builders have started calling the stretch between the Airport and the Marathahalli Outer Ring Road as Old Airport Road. Even so, due to the high significance of this road it has achieved due to its high accessibility for reaching Whitefield.

The Western Peripheral Expressway (WPE) or Kundli–Manesar–Palwal Expressway, is an operational 6-lane, 135.6 km (84.3 mi)-long Expressway in the Haryana state of India. The Pink Line of Namma Metro is under construction and will form part of the metro rail network for the city of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The 21.25 km (13.20 mi) line connects Kalena Agrahara station on Bannerghatta Road in the south with Nagawara station on Outer Ring Road in the north. The Pink Line is mostly underground but also has a 6.98 km (4.34 mi) elevated section and a 0.48 km (0.30 mi) at-grade (surface) section. There are 18 stations on the line, including 12 underground and 6 elevated ones. Pink Line will have an interchange with the Purple Line at MG Road station. It will also have interchanges with the Yellow line at Jayadeva Hospital station and with the Blue Line at Nagawara. Both these lines are under construction.

The Tin Factory junction is a road junction in Bangalore, India. Located near Krishnarajapuram railway station on Old Madras Road, the junction witnesses high traffic congestion and is one of the worst traffic bottlenecks in the city. The junction connects the Outer Ring Road IT cluster of Mahadevapura–Marathahalli–Bellandur with areas along the National Highway 44 such as Hebbal.
