Garden City University, formally known as Garden City College is a private university located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. [2] [3]
Established in the year 1992, Garden City University was formed by Dr. Joseph V.G with other contemporaries like Prof. Shivarudrappa who is a former dean of Karnataka University, Dr. Hanumanthappa who is a former vice-chancellor of Bangalore University, Prof. V.B.Coutinho, vice-chancellor of Gulbarga University, and Prof. Rame Gowda who is a former vice-chancellor of Karnataka State Open University.
Established in the year 1994, the commerce and management department is one of the oldest and the largest in the entire Garden City University Campus.

Established in the year 1994, the school of languages functions as a supporting school for all other branches at the Garden City University. The main focus is to introduce a wider range of literature in English and other foreign languages. At the primary level, this school offers various opportunities for its students a plethora of programs such as novels, plays, and poetry. And in the secondary level, the students are exposed to political issues and socio-cultural issues that the students can connect with the contemporary literature.

National Law School of India University (NLSIU), or simply the National Law School(NLS), is a public law school in Bangalore Karnataka, India. The school is often referred to as the Harvard of the East highlighting its significance at the forefront of legal education in India.
University of Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) was established in 1917, under the name Government Engineering College, by Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya. It is the 5th engineering college to be established in the country and 1st in Karnataka. UVCE is one of the few technical institutions in the country that is vested with the status of a university and autonomy on the lines of IITs. It is one of the oldest technical institutions in the country, imparting technical education leading to B.Tech., B. Arch., M.Tech., M. Arch. and PhD degrees in the various disciplines of Engineering and Architecture. The college is approved by the AICTE and the Government of Karnataka. UVCE has secured an NAAC accreditation score of 3.75. UVCE, while a constituent college of Bangalore University until 2022, secured an NIRF ranking of 64. The college used to receive financial aid under the TEQIP program from the World Bank.
H. (Hanumanthappa) Narasimhaiah ; 6 June 1920 – 31 January 2005) was an Indian physicist, educator, writer, freedom fighter and rationalist from Karnataka. Publicly known as "HN", he was the Vice-Chancellor of Bangalore University and the president of the National Education Society. He was conferred the Padma Bhushan award by the Government of India in 1984.
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), is a collegiate public state university in Belagavi, Karnataka established by the Government of Karnataka. It is one of the largest Technological Universities in India with 26 years of Tradition of excellence in Engineering & Technical Education, Research and Innovations. Udupi Ramachandra Rao was an Indian space scientist and former chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation. He was also the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Physical Research Laboratory at Ahmedabad and Nehru Planetarium at Bengaluru and chancellor of the Indian Institute for Space Science and Technology (IIST) at Thiruvananthapuram. He is known as "The Satellite Man of India". He pioneered India's first satellite launch Aryabhata in 1975.
Kathmandu University (KU) is a public autonomous university in Nepal. Chandrashekhara Basavanneppa Kambara is a prominent Indian poet, playwright, folklorist, film director in Kannada language and the founder-vice-chancellor of Kannada University in Hampi also president of the Sahitya Akademi, country's premier literary institution, after Vinayak Krishna Gokak (1983) and U.R. Ananthamurthy (1993). He is known for effective adaptation of the North Karnataka dialect of the Kannada language in his plays, and poems, in a similar style as in the works of D.R. Bendre.

Krishnacharya Tamanacharya Pandurangi, also known by the pen name Viswamangala, was an Indian Sanskrit scholar and a notable Indologist. Pandurangi was unique among contemporary Sanskrit scholars, being simultaneously at home among both traditional and modern systems of education. In 1989, the Government of India honoured him with the Rashtrapati Award for his contributions to literature and research.
