Between the Days is the second album by Australian singer Merril Bainbridge, released in Australia on 5 October 1998 by Gotham Records. Bainbridge co-wrote most of the album with Owen Bolwell, who also produced the album with Siew and Sam Melamed. The album is a mix between alternative pop songs and features a cover of the Sonny & Cher song "I Got You Babe", sung with the Jamaican rapper Shaggy. The album produced Bainbridge's fifth top forty single on the ARIA Charts, and another top one hundred single.

Rainbow is the 70th album by American country singer Johnny Cash, his last for Columbia Records, released in 1985. "I'm Leaving Now", which was re-recorded 15 years later for Cash's American III: Solitary Man, was released as a single rather unsuccessfully, but the album's signature song is a cover of Kris Kristofferson's "Here Comes That Rainbow Again", which also appeared on Cash's 1995 collaboration with Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings - known as The Highwaymen - entitled The Road Goes on Forever, though it was sung solo by Kristofferson on the latter. Also included is a cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?," from Pendulum. The album also includes the song "Love Me Like You Used To," which was later recorded by fellow country singer Tanya Tucker, and became a country hit for her. Following the release of this album and a duet album with Jennings in 1986, Cash moved to Mercury Records as a result of Columbia's fading interest in his music, though he later returned to Columbia for the second Highwaymen album.

Hell City Glamours were a hard rock band from Sydney, Australia. They supported the likes of Paul Stanley, New York Dolls, Sebastian Bach, Alice Cooper, Shihad, and Airbourne. They released three EP's, a split 7" single with the Devilrock Four and were responsible for a resurgence in hard rock/rock n roll in Sydney in the early 2000s. In late 2008 Hell City Glamours supported The Angels on their Night Attack tour which included four special shows with Rose Tattoo and released their debut album in Europe on Classic Rock Magazine's "Powerage" label. In March, 2009 Hell City Glamours completed their first tour of the United States in which they played at Aussie BBQ and SXSW. In April 2014 they announced the release of their second and final self-titled album along with dates for their farewell tour. Whilst never receiving any support from radio, the Hell City Glamours were an incredibly popular live draw, known for their often sold-out, raucous live shows.

Tlot Tlot were an Australian pop rock band formed in 1986 as Man in the Wood. The original line-up was Owen Bolwell on bass guitar and lead vocals, Andrew Briant on lead guitar, and Stanley Paulzen on drums and lead vocals. Briant left in 1991 and the band name was changed to Tlot Tlot. Their 1995 single, "The Girlfriend Song", reached the ARIA Singles Chart Top 100 and was nominated for Best Pop Release at ARIA Music Awards of 1995. The group issued four albums, A Day at the Bay (1991), Pistolbuttsa'twinkle (1992), The Live Set - Volume 1 (1993) and Fashion Takes a Holiday (1995), before disbanding in 1997.
