Raithu Bidda (transl.Farmer's Son) is a 1939 Telugu social problem film directed by Gudavalli Ramabrahmam. It is a social reformist film during the British Raj era, at the time of battle against the Zamindari system. The British Administration banned the film in the region. [2] Ironically, it was produced by one of the Zamindars of the time, Challapalli Maharaja. The film had a public re-release in 1948. [3]

Raavoyi Chandamama is a 1999 Indian Telugu-language romance film directed by Jayanth C. Paranjee. It stars Nagarjuna, Jagapathi Babu, Anjala Zhaveri, Keerthi Reddy, and the music was composed by Mani Sharma. The film was produced by C. Aswani Dutt under the Vyjayanthi Movies banner. The film's title is based on a song from Missamma (1955). Raavoyi Chandamama was not commercially successful.
Thapi Dharma Rao Naidu (1887–1973) was a Telugu writer, journalist, rationalist, and social reformer. He is considered as a pioneer of colloquial language in Telugu journalism and a doyen of Telugu prose writers. He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award by India's National Academy of Letters in 1971. He authored many books which were the eye openers in the field of social sciences in India, in particular South India. His literary works like Vidhi Vilasam have found a place in the annals of Indian literature. He also wrote dialogues and lyrics for films like Mala Pilla (1938), Raithu Bidda (1939), Drohi (1948), Rojulu Marayi (1955).
Vedantam Raghavayya was an Indian film director, dance choreographer, Kuchipudi exponent, actor, producer, and musician known for his works in Telugu cinema, Telugu theatre, and Tamil cinema. Raghavayya was an accomplished Kuchipudi dancer, who was awarded "Bharata Kala Prapurna" in dance by the Andhra Pradesh government.

Uppena is the soundtrack album composed by Devi Sri Prasad for the 2021 Indian Telugu-language film of the same name starring Panja Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty in lead roles, directed by Bucchi Babu Sana. The album consists of eight songs with Sri Mani, Devi Sri Prasad, Chandrabose and Raqueeb Alam penning the lyrics. On 17 February 2021, the soundtrack album was released digitally on the Aditya Music label. "Nee Kannu Neeli Samudram" and "Jala Jala Jalapaatham Nuvvu" are the biggest hits of the album. After a brief setback, Devi Sri Prasad reclaimed success through the album.
