Rajapeta is a historic location, popularly known as Samsthan Rajapeta, which has forts of Indian state of Telangana located in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district.

Rajapeta Sansthan was one of the 14 princely states of Hyderabad during the Nizam's rule.

Manik Prabhu Maharaj was an Indian Hindu saint, freedom fighter, philosopher, poet and guru. He is also regarded as an incarnation of Dattatreya by the people of Datta Sampraday. Prabhu's philosophy, the Sakala mata Siddhanta rests on the principles of Advaita Vedanta as propagated by Adi Sankara. Shri Prabhu strongly advocated the essential oneness of all religions. Prabhu's Muslim devotees revered him as an incarnation of Mehboob Subhani whereas his Lingayat devotees saw him as a form of Basavanna. Shri Prabhu's samadhi at Maniknagar is the nucleus of Manik Nagar and acts as the spiritual center of the activities of Shri Manik Prabhu Samsthan.

Satrucharla Vijaya Rama Raju Zamindar of China Merangi samsthan is a MLC of Telugu Desam Party from Andhra Pradesh. He served as member of the Lok Sabha representing Parvathipuram. He was elected to 9th, 10th and 12th Lok Sabha. And he also served as forest minister in Andhra Pradesh. He served as the Cabinet Minister of Andhra Pradesh in the YS Raja Sekhar Reddy Cabinet.

Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy is an Indian politician and the current member of the legislative assembly representing Munugode. He belongs to Congress.
