Bhoomi pooja was performed in April 1997. Paranur Mahathma Sri Krishna Premi Swamigal and Sri Vittaldas Maharaj consecrated the deities on 6 September 1998. Sri Krishna Premi Swamigal bestowed the title Dakshina Pandaripuram to Sri Vittal Rukmini Samsthan.
