Raji Assefa Worku (born 1986) [1] is an Ethiopian long-distance runner.
In 2008, he competed at the 2008 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. [2] He finished in 14th place. [2]
In 2012, he competed in the men's half marathon at the 2012 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships held in Kavarna, Bulgaria. [3] He did not finish his race. [3]
In 2015, he won the men's race at the Guangzhou Marathon held in Guangzhou, China.
The World Athletics Road Running Championships is a biennial international road running competition organised by World Athletics. The competition was launched as the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships in 1992 and held annually until 2010.
