Ralph Mims (born November 26, 1985) is an American professional basketball player. He is 6'2" and weighs 205 pounds.
Mims scored 1,916 career points at Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Maine. A four-year starter, Mims dominated his competition at the Class A level (Maine's largest schools). As a senior, Mims averaged 29.8 points, 11.4 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 4.5 steals per game. In the 2002 State Championship, sophomore Mims and the Brunswick team faced Deering High School and Nik Caner-Medley. Mims scored 31 points, and Brunswick won the game. Brunswick finished runner-up in the Eastern Maine Final against Bangor in Mims' junior year. Mims' senior year, he carried the team to the state championship against the Portland High School Bulldogs. He scored 46 points in the game but lost.
Mims played collegiately at Florida State. In his college debut against Texas Southern University, Mims scored a career high 17 points. As a freshman, Mims played sparingly but averaged 2.8 points per game. As a sophomore, he averaged 3.8 points per game. He also broke a school record for consecutive free throws made, 33, breaking Jim Oler's 1953-54 record of 31. He began to play more as his career continued and broke into the starting lineup his senior season. He played in every game at Florida State during his four-year career. [1] [2]
Mims made his professional debut, in 2008, with Pinar Karsiyaka of Turkey where he played 11 games and averaged 18.5 points per game. The rights to his contract was later dealt to Antalya Büyükşehir Belediyesi where he spent the rest of the 2008-2009 season, 17 games, averaging 13.8 ppg. On January 21, 2009, Mims set a career high with 34 points against Selcuk University. He, then, joined Chorale Roanne Basket of France for the 2009-2010 season. In 33 games with Chorale he averaged 14.3 points per game.
In June 2010 he signed a one-year contract with the French team SLUC Nancy, where he was champion of the LNB Pro A.
Mims was drafted 50th overall in the 2012 NBA D-League draft by the Iowa Energy. [3]

The 1989–90 Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball team represented Georgetown University in the 1989–90 NCAA Division I college basketball season. John Thompson, coached them in his 18th season as head coach. They played their home games at the Capital Centre in Landover, Maryland. They were members of the Big East Conference and finished the season with a record of 24–7, 11–5 in Big East play. Their record earned them a bye in the first round of the 1990 Big East men's basketball tournament, and they advanced to the semifinals before losing to Connecticut. They were the No. 3 seed in the Midwest Region of the 1990 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament – the 12th of 14 consecutive Georgetown NCAA tournament appearances – and advanced to the second round before losing to Midwest Region No. 6 seed Xavier. They were ranked No. 8 in the season's final Associated Press Poll and No. 6 in the final Coaches' Poll.

John Herbert Best is an American former professional basketball player. A forward/center listed at 6-foot-8, he played college basketball at Tennessee Tech for 4 years, and in his senior year he ranked 3rd in the NCAA Division I in scoring with an average of 28.5 points per game. He was selected by the New Jersey Nets in the second round of the 1993 NBA draft, but he was cut before the beginning of the 1993–94 NBA season and started his professional career in France. After playing in Puerto Rico, Switzerland and the Philippines, Best joined German team Bayer Giants Leverkusen where he was the Basketball Bundesliga Top Scorer in 2001 with an average of 22.9 points per game. He then participated in the 2003–04 Euroleague with Alba Berlin and retired after three more seasons in France with Élan Chalon.
Joe Dawson is an American-Israeli former professional basketball player. He played high school basketball at Druid High School in his native Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and played four years of college basketball for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, leading the team in scoring and rebounding multiple times and was an all-conference selection. After going undrafted in the 1982 NBA draft, he started his professional career in the Continental Basketball Association, and was selected as an all-star in each of the three seasons he played there. After a brief experience in the USBL he moved abroad, playing in Venezuela and France. In 1987 he had his first experience in the Israeli league with Hapoel Holon: he would play in Israel for 14 seasons, leading the league in both scoring and rebounding in 1992. He was named the 1992 Israeli Basketball Premier League MVP. He was inducted in the Southern Miss Hall of Fame in 2011, and is the father of professional basketball player Shawn Dawson.
Brian Ralph Jackson is an American former professional basketball player. After playing high school basketball in Palos Verdes Estates, California, Jackson played college basketball at Utah State, and was an all-conference selection in three of his four seasons there. He was selected in the second round of the 1981 NBA draft by the Portland Trail Blazers but was waived before the start of the NBA season, and he moved to Europe where he played in Italy and most notably in Spain, where he was selected as an All-Star 4 times. While playing for Real Madrid he won 2 league titles, one Copa del Rey and one FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup, of which he also was the finals top scorer. He retired in 1995 after a 14-year career; in 2012 he was inducted in the Utah State Athletics Hall of Fame.
Walter Roderick Sellers is an American former professional basketball player. He played at Wilson High School in his native Florence, South Carolina, and played college basketball at UConn, where he was an all-conference performer in his senior year in 1992. After going undrafted in the 1992 NBA draft, Sellers opted not to sign for the Grand Rapids Hoops, which had selected him first overall in the CBA draft, and instead went to Europe, starting his professional career with Greek side AEK Athens. Sellers spent his whole career in Europe, playing in Greece, France, Italy, Spain and Turkey: he appeared in three Euroleague seasons and in 1999 he was the FIBA Saporta Cup Finals Top Scorer. In his 14-year career he has won 1 French league, 2 French cups, 1 Italian Supercup and 1 Semaine des As.
Darrel Joseph Mitchell Jr. is an American former professional basketball player. He played high school basketball at St. Martinville Senior High School in St. Martinville, Louisiana, and was named Louisiana Mr. Basketball as a senior in 2002. He then played college basketball with the LSU Tigers, staying for 4 years and reaching the NCAA Tournament Final Four in 2006. After going undrafted in the 2006 NBA draft, Mitchell started a professional career in Europe with Turkish team Galatasaray. He participated in the 2007–08 Euroleague with Lithuanian team Lietuvos rytas. He has played in Belgium, Cyprus, France, Lithuania, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.
