Ram Prasad Paul [1] (born 1968) is an Indian Politician from Tripura. He is currently serving as Deputy Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly.He was Minister of Fire and Emergency Service of Tripura in Government of Tripura under Biplab Kumar Deb ministry. [2] [3] He became the MLA from Suryamaninagar Constituency by defeating CPI(M) candidate Rajkumar Choudhury by a margin of 4,567 votes in 2018. [4]
In May 2022,Paul stirred nationwide controversy by wailing and hurling chair while screaming out loud “I will die,I will not (have anything to) do (with) such a party”,over new Chief Minister announcement. [5] [6] [7]

Sudip Roy Barman is an Indian politician from Tripura. He served as the MLA of the Tripura Legislative Assembly from the Agartala constituency which he held since 1998 by winning four elections consecutively on INC ticket by handsome margins. In 2018,he contested from Agartala constituency and won on BJP ticket. On 7 February 2022,he quit BJP and resigned from his MLA post. On 8 February he joined the Indian National Congress in Delhi.
