Ram Racing is a British endurance racing team based in Northamptonshire, England. The team was founded in 2012 by Dan Shufflebottom, whose motorsport background includes working as lead mechanic for Michael Schumacher during his time with Mercedes. Funding for the venture was provided by an anonymous backer located in the Middle East, [1] later revealed to be Cheerag Arya, [2] and the team is located in a 1,200 square meter facility on the edge of Silverstone Circuit.
Ram's debut was in the 2013 European Le Mans Series, with two Ferrari 458 Italias fielded in the GTE class. The No. 52 car took victory at Imola, the Red Bull Ring, Circuit Paul Ricard, and second place at Silverstone and the Hungaroring. [3] At the end of the season, the No. 52 and No. 53 cars had earned 114 and 63 points respectively.
2014 opened with an 11th-place finish by a Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 at the Dubai 24 Hour. Ram Racing's effort in the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship season was brief, with their Ferrari 458 Italia GT2s starting only at the 6 Hours of Silverstone and 24 Hours of Le Mans. The No. 52 car earned 8 points with one sixth-place finish and a retirement, and the No. 53 car earned 26 points with fifth and sixth-place finishes. The team announced an official withdrawal from the championship on 11 June, with only a skeleton crew remaining in employment. A six-month hiatus from racing was ended by an announcement in late December that a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 would be fielded at the 2015 24H Dubai. The goal of the switch to Mercedes-Benz was to reduce cost and gain a foothold for budgeting. On 9 December, the FIA granted the six-round 24H Series championship status. [4]
Ram Racing began the 2015 season with an announcement of a full foray into the 24H Series, continuing to field the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3. The opening race in Dubai resulted in a second-place finish 4 laps behind the Black Falcon Mercedes-Benz. This ended a six-month drought started by the team's financial trouble during the 2014 WEC. On 11 March, the team entered the 2015 British GT Championship with the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3, driven by Lewis Plato and Alistair MacKinnon. During round 2 of the 24H Series, the No. 30 car finished in second place at 12H Italy-Mugello after delays in the pits and multiple Code 60 periods.
The 24 Hours of Spa is an endurance racing event for cars held annually since 1924 at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Stavelot, Belgium. It is currently sponsored by CrowdStrike.

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is a front mid-engine, 2-seater, limited production sports car developed by the Mercedes-AMG division of German automotive manufacturer Mercedes-Benz, with the assistance of David Coulthard. The 2011 FIA GT3 European Championship season was the sixth season of the FIA GT3 European Championship. The season commenced on May 8 at Algarve and ended on October 16 at Zandvoort. The season featured six double-header rounds, with each race lasting for a duration of 60 minutes. Most of the events were support races to the 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship season.

In the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans, Team DragonSpeed USA won the LMP2 Pro/Am Category, in an Oreca 07, car #21, driven by Henrik Hedman, Ben Hanley and Juan Pablo Montoya.

The 2013 Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour was an endurance race for a variety of GT and touring car classes, including: GT3 cars, GT4 cars, Group 3E Series Production Cars and Dubai 24 Hour cars. The event, which was staged at the Mount Panorama Circuit, near Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia, on 10 February 2013, was the eleventh running of the Bathurst 12 Hour. The race also incorporated the opening round of the 2013 Australian GT Championship. The Australian GT Championship was to compete as the first hour only and cars were permitted to enter for only that hour or to cross-enter for both the first hour and continue for the endurance race.
Group GT3, known technically as Cup Grand Touring Cars and commonly referred to as simply GT3, is a set of regulations maintained by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) for grand tourer racing cars designed for use in various auto racing series throughout the world. The GT3 category was initially created in 2005 by the SRO Motorsports Group as a third rung in the ladder of grand touring motorsport, below the Group GT1 and Group GT2 categories which were utilized in the SRO's FIA GT Championship, and launched its own series in 2006 called the FIA GT3 European Championship. Since then, Group GT3 has expanded to become the de facto category for many national and international grand touring series, although some series modify the ruleset from the FIA standard. By 2013, nearly 20 automobile manufacturers have built or been represented with GT3 machines.
ROWE Racing is the motor racing team of the German lubricant manufacturer Rowe Mineralölwerk. The 24H Series is a sports car racing and touring car racing series developed by Creventic and with approval from the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). It features GT3-spec cars, GT4-spec cars, sports cars, touring cars and 24H-Specials, like silhouette cars. The calendar consists only of 24-hour and 12-hour races. 2015 was the first season with drivers battling for championship points and titles. It also marked the first season with official FIA International Series’ status.
The 2016 24H Series powered by Hankook was the second season of the 24H Series with drivers battling for championship points and titles and the ninth season since Creventic, the organiser and promoter of the series, organises multiple races a year. The races were contested with GT3-spec cars, GT4-spec cars, sports cars, touring cars and 24H-Specials, like silhouette cars. The 24H Silverstone and the 24H Epilog Brno were part of both the 24H Series and the Touring Car Endurance Series, with only touring cars eligible for racing in the English round.

HTP Winward Motorsport also known as HTP Motorsport and Winward Racing is a German-American-based auto racing team. The team mainly competes in GT3 based series such as the GT World Challenge Europe. The team was founded after HTP Investment BV took over Heico Motorsport.
Maximilian Buhk is a retired German racing driver. He experienced considerable success racing for Mercedes-AMG in the GT3 scene, winning the 2012 FIA GT3 European Championship and 2013 Blancpain Endurance Series, before taking the 2015 Blancpain GT Sprint Series title as part of the Bentley factory lineup.
