The Marxist Forward Bloc is a political party in India,a splinter group of the All India Forward Bloc. The MFB was formed in 1953 as Satyapriya Banerjee,a member of the AIFB Central Secretariat,Amar Bose,Suhurit Chaudhury and Ram Chatterji were expelled from AIFB. At its foundation,Satyapriya Banerjee was the party's general secretary and Amar Bose its chairman.

Ram Chatterjee was an Indian politician. He won the Tarakeswar constituency seat in the 1967,1969,1971,1977 and 1982 elections.
Pramatha Ranjan Thakur was an Indian politician elected as a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from the Hanskhali constituency in the 1962 elections as a candidate of the Indian National Congress. The seat was reserved for candidates from the Scheduled Castes.
