Randolph Ramnarace (born 25 July 1941) is a former first-class cricketer from Berbice who played mostly for Guyana.
Ramnarace,a middle-order batsman and medium-paced bowler,was a regular member of the British Guiana/Guyana team from 1965–66 to 1972–73. He never quite made enough runs or took enough wickets to warrant selection for the West Indies Test team,although he played for the Rest of the World team that made a short tour of England in 1968,when he also played regularly for the International Cavaliers [1] as well as taking 59 wickets at an average of 14.42 to lead the Surrey Second XI attack to the Second XI Championship. [2]
He played Lancashire League cricket as the professional for Colne in 1969. [3] He was the leading bowler in the Worsley Cup,which Colne won,taking 19 wickets at an average of 8.57. [4]
Ramnarace's highest first-class score was 71,Guyana's highest score in the match,against Jamaica during the 1968–69 Shell Shield season. [5] His best first-class bowling figures were 6 for 101 for Berbice against Demerara in the Jones Cup in 1971–72. [6]
Courtney Andrew Walsh OJ is a former Jamaican cricketer who represented the West Indies from 1984 to 2001,captaining the West Indies in 22 Test matches. He is a fast bowler and considered one of the all-time greats,best known for a remarkable opening bowling partnership along with fellow West Indian Curtly Ambrose for several years. Walsh played 132 Tests and 205 ODIs for the West Indies and took 519 and 227 wickets respectively. He shared 421 Test wickets with Ambrose in 49 matches. He held the record of most Test wickets from 2000,after he broke the record of Kapil Dev. This record was later broken in 2004 by Shane Warne. He was the first bowler to reach 500 wickets in Test cricket. His autobiography is entitled "Heart of the Lion". Walsh was named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1987. In October 2010,he was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. He was appointed as the Specialist Bowling Coach of Bangladesh Cricket Team in August 2016.
The Lancashire League is a competitive league of local cricket clubs drawn from the small to middle-sized mill towns,mainly but not exclusively,of East Lancashire. Its real importance is probably due to its history of employing professional players of international standing to play in the League.

John Shaw Waring is an English former professional cricketer who played for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1963 to 1966. He also played one match for Warwickshire in 1967. He was born in Ripon.
East Lancashire Cricket Club is a cricket club in the Lancashire League,which plays its home games at Alexandra Meadows in Blackburn. For the 2015 season its captain was Mark Bolton and its professional was Juan de Villiers. The club has been very successful,winning the League on 14 occasions,the Worsley Cup on 18,the Inter League Club Challenge Trophy twice in its ten-year history,and has won a greater percentage of its games than any other club. It has employed professionals including Fazal Mahmood,Allan Border and Paul Reiffel.
Berbice cricket team played first class cricket in the Guystac Trophy and against the occasional touring team during the 20th century. The team came from the Dutch colony of Berbice,which is now a county of Guyana.

Geoffrey Harold Hall was an English cricketer. He was born in Colne,Lancashire. During his career,he played for Somerset County Cricket Club,and made a total of 48 first-class appearances for the county.
George Alphonso Headley OD,MBE was a West Indian cricketer who played 22 Test matches,mostly before World War II. Considered one of the best batsmen to play for the West Indies and one of the greatest cricketers of all time,Headley also represented Jamaica and played professional club cricket in England. West Indies had a weak cricket team through most of Headley's playing career;as their one world-class player,he carried a heavy responsibility and the side depended on his batting. He batted at number three,scoring 2,190 runs in Tests at an average of 60.83,and 9,921 runs in all first-class matches at an average of 69.86. He was chosen as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1934.

Malcolm Williams is a former Guyanese cricketer who played a single first-class match for Essequibo in the final of the 1980–81 inter-county Jones Cup.
Courtney Alexander Gonsalves was a Guyanese cricketer who played a single first-class match for Essequibo in the final of the 1980–81 inter-county Jones Cup,and also represented the Guyanese national side in the 1980–81 limited-overs Geddes Grant/Harrison Line Trophy. He later coached the Canadian national under-19 team.
William Michael Jeffrey was a Guyanese cricketer who represented the Guyanese national team in West Indian domestic cricket. He was an all-rounder who bowled right-arm off-spin and batted right-handed.
