Ranil Dias (born 2 August 1957) is a Sri Lankan sailor. He competed in the 470 event at the 1984 Summer Olympics. [1]

He was member of Parliament of Sri Lanka, and was the former CEO of Mihin Lanka government sponsored budget airline. He also served as coordinating secretary on trade and foreign affairs to the President of Sri Lanka. Prior to entering parliament in 2010 he was a member of the southern provincial council. Sajin has been involved in several controversies, and was widely criticised for his role as CEO of Mihin Lanka and for his involvement in the bankruptcy and financial misfortune of the airline.

Ranil Jayawardena British Conservative politician

Ranil Malcolm Jayawardena is a British Conservative Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for North East Hampshire since May 2015 and the Minister for International Trade since May 2020. Born in London, England, he moved to Hampshire before starting school. His education was at his local comprehensive in North East Hampshire, Robert May's School, followed by Alton College. Jayawardena graduated from the London School of Economics and worked for Lloyds Banking Group, rising to become a senior manager.

The 2004 SLC Twenty20 Tournament is the 1st season of the official Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Sri Lanka. 15 teams in total, five representing four provinces of Sri Lanka and a Sri Lanka Schools XI team participating in the competition. The competition began on 17 August 2004, when Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club played the Police Sports Club at Colts Cricket Club Ground, Colombo.

She has held several posts during her career including the position of Director General of the Bribery Commission. In September 2019, she involved in controversies regarding the direct links which she maintained with Avant Garde chairmain Nissanka Senadhipathi. In October 2019, Sanjay Rajaratnam replaced Dilrukshi Dias as the acting Solicitor General following the controversial phone call with Avant Garde chairman.
