Shekhawati is a semi-arid historical region located in the northeast part of Rajasthan, India. The region was ruled by Shekhawat Rajputs. Shekhawati is located in North Rajasthan, comprising the districts of Jhunjhunu, parts of Sikar that lies to the west of the Aravalis and Churu. It is bounded on the northwest by the Jangladesh region, on the northeast by Haryana, on the east by Mewat, on the southeast by Dhundhar, on the south by Ajmer, and on the southwest by the Marwar region. Aphariya (Aphrya) also spelt as Affariya, Afariya or Phariya) is a clan of Yaduvanshi Aheer or Yadava. Aphariyas ruled the Ahirwal state of Haryana.
Rao Gopaldev also known as Raja Gopal Singh Yadav (1829–1862) was a nineteenth-century revolutionary leader in Rewari, Ahirwal, who allied himself with his cousin, Maharaja Rao Tula Singh Yadav, during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. He was sixth generation descendant of famous Maharaja Rao Shahbaz Singh and first cousin of Rao Tula Singh. He inherited personal jagir of 841 villages after the death of his father Raja Rao Nathu Ram in 1855. His cousin Maharaja Rao Tula Singh Made him commander in chief of Armed forces of Rewari State.
Madhuriputra was an Ahir king who ruled over the Nashik in the 3rd century AD. The Nashik inscription speaks of a king Madhuriputra Ishwarsena / Mathariputra Ishvarsena, who was an Ahir and a son of Shivadatta who was said to be the founder of this dynasty. This dynasty originated around 249-250BCE, an era that would be known as Kalachuri-Chedi era in later times. They would rule the region around Nashik. Some historians consider them to be a branch of the Satavahanas. After the fall of Satavahana Dynasty in 199A.D, Abir Dynasty is said to rule over Nashik and the northeast. Madhuriputra was one of the ten kings of this dynasty who ruled Nashik for 67 Years.
Madhogarh Fort is a fort located on top of Madhogarh Hill in the Aravalli mountain range, near Madhogarh village, in the Mahendragarh district of Haryana state in India. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from Mahendragarh, reachable via Satnali Chowk or via Mahendragarh- Satnali- Loharu road.
