Bal Keshav Thackeray also known as Balasaheb Thackeray, was an Indian politician who founded the Shiv Sena, a right-wing pro-Marathi and Hindu nationalist party active mainly in the state of Maharashtra.

Raj Shrikant Thackeray is an Indian politician and the founding chairperson of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), a regional political party. Raj was a former member of Shiv Sena till he founded MNS in 2006. He is the nephew of Balasaheb Thackeray.
In the Bombay riots in December 1992 and January 1993, an estimated 900 people died. The riots were mainly due to escalations of hostilities after large scale protests by Muslims in reaction to the 1992 Babri Masjid Demolition by Hindu Karsevaks in Ayodhya; and by Hindu mobs in regards with the Ram Temple issue.
The Ranvir Sena is a militia functioning as a landlord group, mainly based in the state of Bihar, India. The group was formed by Bhumihar landlords in 1994, with the aim to counter the influence of various left-wing militants, Naxalite groups and the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation (CPI-ML) in central Bihar. The Ranvir Sena has been connected to a number of massacres including the massacre at Laxmanpur Bathe. It has, on several occasions, been accused of human rights abuses. The Bihar state government banned the Ranvir Sena in July 1995, but the group continue to remain active. The group has frequently publicly claimed responsibility for its crimes with impunity.
The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena is a Regionalist far-right Indian political party based in the state of Maharashtra and operates on the ideology of "Hindutva" and "Marathi" Manus. It was founded on 9 March 2006 in Mumbai by Raj Thackeray after he left the Shiv Sena party due to differences with his cousin Uddhav Thackeray, who later became the 19th Chief Minister Of Maharashtra and to his sidelining by the Shiv Sena in major decisions like distribution of election tickets.
Saamana is a Marathi-language newspaper published in Maharashtra, India. The 2008 attacks on Uttar Pradeshi and Bihari migrants in Maharashtra began on 3 February 2008 after violent clashes between workers of two political parties—Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Samajwadi Party (SP)—at Dadar in Mumbai, capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra. The clashes took place when workers of MNS, a splinter faction formed out of the Shiv Sena, tried to attack workers of SP, the regional party based in Uttar Pradesh, who were proceeding to attend a rally organised by the United National Progressive Alliance (UNPA). Defending his party's stand, MNS chief Raj Thackeray explained that the attack was a reaction to the "provocative and unnecessary show of strength" and "uncontrolled political and cultural dadagiri (bullying) of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar migrants and their leaders".

Akhil Bharatiya Rashtravadi Kisan Sangathan is a non-political party started by the founder of Ranvir Sena, Brahmeshwar Singh (Mukhiyaji) also known as the Leader of Kisan on 5 May 2012. The party was started in Patna with the focus of non-violently defending the rights of farmers and other manual workers. The party was declared as an apolitical group which will not contest the elections.
Brahmeshwar Singh also known as Brahmeshwar Mukhiya or Mukhiyaji, was head of the upper-caste militia Ranvir Sena in Bihar, India. On 1 June 2012, he was killed by unidentified gunmen.

The 969 Movement is a Buddhist nationalist movement opposed to what they see as Islam's expansion in predominantly-Buddhist Myanmar (Burma). The three digits of 969 "symbolize the virtues of the Buddha, Buddhist practices and the Buddhist community". The first 9 stands for the nine special attributes of the Buddha and the 6 for the six special attributes of his Dharma, or Buddhist Teachings, and the last 9 represents the nine special attributes of Buddhist Sangha. Those special attributes are the Three Jewels of the Buddha. In the past, the Buddha, Sangha, Dhamma, the wheel of Dhamma, and "969" were Buddhist signs.
Nana Falgunrao Patole is an Indian politician who is the current President of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee from 5 February 2021. He was the Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly before this appointment.
Sadashiv Kisan Lokhande is a member of the 17th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Shirdi constituency of Maharashtra and is a member of the Shiv Sena political party. After the split in Shiv Sena, Sadashiv Lokhande left Uddhav Thackeray and went with Eknath Shinde.

Lal Sena was an organised armed militia of CPIML Liberation in northeastern India, across the terrains of central Bihar, north-west of today's Jharkhand, and a few districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh. It was formed mainly by lower caste peasantry and landless labourers.
Kisan is a Palestinian village located in the Bethlehem Governorate of the State of Palestine, in the southern West Bank. In 2017, its population was about 560, according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics. The village came under Israeli occupation after the 1967 Six-Day War. Israel has constructed the Separation Wall across Kisan, confiscating 65.5% of the village total area for Israeli settlements. The remaining area of the village is surrounded by the Wall, Israeli military installations and several illegal Israeli settlements and outposts, including Ma'ale Amos, Mitzpe Shalem and Abei Hanahal, constructed on large areas of private land expropriated from Palestinian owners.
