The Rashtriya Janata Dal is an Indian political party, based in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Kerala. The party was founded in 1997 by Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Chirag Kumar Paswan is an Indian politician and former actor serving as the 1st president of the Lok Janshakti Party since 2021, 2nd president of Lok Janshakti Party from 2019 to 2021 and a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Jamui Lok Sabha constituency since 2014. He is the son of late Member of Parliament and Union Minister, Ram Vilas Paswan.
