Anni-Frid Synni Lyngstad, also known simply as Frida, is a Norwegian-born Swedish singer who is best known as one of the founding members and lead singers of the pop band ABBA. Courtesy titles Princess Reuss and Countess of Plauen are also in use due to her third marriage. Born in Bjørkåsen (Ballangen), Norway, to a Norwegian mother and a German father, she grew up in Torshälla, Sweden, and started her first solo career there, as a jazz singer in 1967, through a talent competition called New Faces.
Gun-Marie Fredriksson was a Swedish singer, best known internationally as the lead vocalist of pop rock duo Roxette, which she formed in 1986 with Per Gessle. The duo achieved international success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with their albums Look Sharp! (1988) and Joyride (1991), and had multiple hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including four number ones.
Ebba Grön was a Swedish punk band formed in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1977. Ebba Grön consisted of Joakim Thåström, Gunnar Ljungstedt (drums) and Lennart Eriksson. Thåström, Ljungstedt and Eriksson were also known as Pimme, Gurra and Fjodor. After the release of their second album in 1981, they were joined by a fourth member, Anders Sjöholm, also known as Stry Terrarie, on keyboard. The group was disbanded on 21 February 1983.

The Grammis are music awards presented annually to musicians and songwriters in Sweden. The oldest Swedish music awards, they were instituted as a local equivalent of the Grammy Awards given in the United States. The awards ceremony is generally held each year in February in Stockholm. The awards were established in 1969 and awarded until 1972 when they were cancelled, then revived in 1987.
Lars Olof "Olle" Gustaf Ljungström was a Swedish singer, songwriter, and musician. Ljungström grew up in Vaxholm. He was vocalist and guitarist in the group Reeperbahn from 1979 to 1984; since the early 1990s he performed solo.

Mauro Scocco is a Swedish pop artist of Italian descent. He has been described as "one of the sharpest songwriters in Sweden". Scocco was the singer for the pop group Ratata (1980–83) transformed into a duo with Johan Ekelund (1983–89). After Ratata, Scocco has continued as a solo artist since. In 2014, he cooperated with Plura Jonsson releasing a joint album as Mauro & Plura.

La Dolce Vita – Det Bästa 1982–2003 is the second compilation album by Swedish pop music artist Mauro Scocco. Unlike the previous greatest hits compilation, Hits, this double CD spanned Scocco's entire career, including his early career as a member of the pop group Ratata. The selections were picked by Scocco himself. It also included a version of the Scocco-penned Lisa Nilsson hit "Himlen runt hörnet", featuring Scocco himself, Nilsson, and Swedish blues artist Driftwood. There were also various unreleased demos included on the album. It was released in 2003 through Scocco's own record label Diesel Music.

Sharon Birgitta Dyall is a Swedish singer, actress and voice actress. She became famous in the late 1980s when she acted in the SVT TV series Varuhuset. She has since become known as a singer of soul and jazz music and as a musical performer. She has appeared in many theatre productions including West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Nine and Chicago . Aside from being active on stage and within the field of dubbing, Dyall also holds a degree in Logonomy, Aesthetic Voice and Speech Pedagogy teaching in Voice and Artistic Performance Development.

The ministry dealt with long-term guidelines for economic policy, the principle orientation of financial and credit policy, international economic cooperation, statistics, questions regarding banking and insurance, the stock exchange and the monetary system. The ministry was headed by the minister of economics. The ministry ceased to exist in 1982.
