RAVENHILL is an American rock band. They are originally from southern Illinois relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, but now reside near the Dallas, Texas, area. The band started making music in 2009. Their membership is Joshua Clifton, Brady Clifton, Kalen Orr, & Keith Schaubert with former members Coleman Fitch, Dane Johns, David Curtis, Kyle Hassenfratz, Taylor Chance, and Jonathan Raby. The band released an album, Ladies and Gentlemen, I Present To You..., independently in 2009. Their next release, the EP Live on Delmar, was released independently in 2010. They released a second extended play, Lions, in 2011, also independently. Their first studio album, Soul , was released by Slospeak Records in 2015. They released an EP called “Spirit” on Honey Gold Records in 2018. Later on August 3 in the same year, RAVENHILL released “Midnight Gold” on Honey Gold Records.

Background

Ravenhill, which is named after Leonard Ravenhill, is a Southern rock band from southern Illinois around West Frankfort and Herrin. [1] In 2010, the band moved to Nashville, Tennessee, and signed to indie record label Slospeak Records. Their members are vocalist and guitarist Joshua Clifton, guitarists Taylor Chance and Mike Bay, bassist Brady Clifton, and drummer Kyle Hassenfratz, with their former members guitarist Dan Johns and drummers Coleman Fitch and Jonathan Raby, the latter also performing background vocals for the group. Music history

The band commenced as a musical entity in 2009 with their first release, Ladies and Gentlemen, I Present To You..., an independently released album. [2] They released an extended play, Live on Delmar, independently in 2010. [2] The subsequent release, yet another extended play, Lions, was released independently on May 20, 2011. [4] Their first studio album, Soul , was released on March 24, 2015, from Slospeak Records. [5] The single "Mercy" hit to No. 20 on the Billboard magazine Christian rock chart. [6]

They come from Carrollton, Kentucky, where they were formed in 2010, with lead vocalist Eric Gentry. Eric's death in 2014 was the reasoning behind the band's name change, with 'XXI' (Roman numerals for '21') being Eric's age at the time of his death. Their first extended play, Hell on Earth, was released in 2014, shortly before Eric's death, and under their former name. The debut studio album, Inside Out, was released with Carson Butcher as lead vocalist on Tooth & Nail Records in 2015. This album was their breakthrough album on both the Billboard magazine Christian Albums and Heatseekers Albums charts.

Lovelite is an American Christian music pop rock worship band from Southern California, where they play a version of Christian rock, CCM, indie rock, and synthpop music. Their two main members are husband-and-wife, Andrew and Jen Polfer. They have released four extended plays and three studio albums, mostly with Come&Live! Records, where they got attention for In Three Persons.

Rival Choir, formerly known as Mouth of the South, was an American Christian post-hardcore and metalcore band from Denton, Texas formed in 2007. The band signed with Facedown Records in January 2014. Struggle Well was the band's last album under the name Mouth of the South. After announcing their change from Mouth of the South to Rival Choir, their new album—I Believe, Help My Unbelief—was released on February 5, 2016, also by Facedown Records. On November 18, the band released the debut single from the new album, entitled "Aftermath".
