Sardar Ravi Inder Singh Dummna (born 25 March 1940) is an industrialist, former Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. He was elected five times as a Member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly from Morinda. [1] [2] He is an engineering graduate from I.I.T. Kharagpur Later he was awarded the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree (M.B.A.) from Harvard University.
He is the grandson of Sardar Indra Singh ‒ the steel magnate, and the son of Sardar Ajaib Singh. Singh is the nephew of Sardar Baldev Singh ‒ the first Defence Minister of Independent India. Sardar Baldev Singh was a close confidant of Nehru and is still widely known as the wealthiest Sikh man.

Sardar Udham is a 2021 Indian Hindi language biographical historical drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar, and produced by Rising Sun Films in collaboration with Kino Works. The screenplay is written by Shubhendu Bhattacharya and Ritesh Shah, with Bhattacharya also writing the story based on team research, and Shah also writing the dialogues, while playing a supporting role. Based on the life of Udham Singh, who assassinated Michael O'Dwyer in London to avenge the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar, the film starred Vicky Kaushal in the title role, along with Shaun Scott, Stephen Hogan, Amol Parashar, Banita Sandhu and Kirsty Averton in supporting roles.
Major–General Onkar Singh Kalkat, PVSM, was an Indian military officer in the British Indian Army and later the Indian Army. Soon after the partition of India in 1947, he stumbled upon the plans for an Operation Gulmarg, which were apparently Pakistani plans to attack the princely state of Kashmir, two months before they were to commence. Even though he conveyed the information to the Indian authorities, he was not taken seriously. Senior Indian officials including the-then Defence Minister of India Sardar Baldev Singh, Brigadier Kalwant Singh and the DGMO, Col. P. N. Thapar, were complicit in the delay in taking action on Kalkat's information. Kalkat's account also shows the complicity of some British officials in the 1947 invasion of Kashmir.
