Brandon Rayshun Reed (born April 10, 1981) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive back for one season with the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Troy Trojans. He was also a member of the Hamburg Sea Devils, New York Jets, Orlando Predators and Tampa Bay Storm.
Reed attended Russell County High School in Seale, Alabama. [1]
Reed was signed by the San Francisco 49ers on April 30, 2004, after going undrafted in the 2004 NFL draft. He was released by the 49ers on September 3, 2005. [2]
Reed was selected by the Hamburg Sea Devils of NFL Europe in January 2006. [2] He was named to the All-NFL Europe League team. [3]
Reed signed with the New York Jets on May 30, 2006. He was released by the Jets on August 27, 2006. [2]
Reed was signed by the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League (AFL) on December 18, 2006. He was released by the Predators on February 23, 2008. [4]
