Re-Boot: Live '98 (also called Re:Boot or [:RE: BOOT]) is a live album from Front 242, released in 1998. This album stands in contrast to the band's previous live album Live Code , in that many of its tracks are radical reworkings of the band's earlier songs. Front 242 has identified The Prodigy as an influence on the style of this album. A similar style is also used on the Front 242 live performance DVD, Catch the Men.

Front Line Assembly (FLA) is a Canadian electro-industrial band formed by Bill Leeb in 1986 after leaving Skinny Puppy. Influenced by early electronic and industrial acts such as Cabaret Voltaire, Portion Control, D.A.F., Test Dept, SPK, and Severed Heads, FLA has developed its own sound incorporating elements of electronic body music (EBM). The band's membership has rotated through several members over the years, including Michael Balch, Rhys Fulber, and Chris Peterson, all of whom are associated with several other acts.

Slaughter and the Dogs are an English punk rock band, formed in 1975 in Wythenshawe, Manchester, and were one of the first English punk bands to sign with a major label. Their original line-up consisted of singer Wayne Barrett, guitarist Mick Rossi, drummer Brian "Mad Muffet" Grantham and bassist Howard "Zip" Bates. Barrett and Rossi have led the band through various reformations with different lineups, including Mark Reback (drums) and Dam Graziano (bass), Noel Kay (drums) and JP Thollet (bass) amongst others.

Roger Miret and the Disasters American punk band

Roger Miret and the Disasters are a street punk group formed by Agnostic Front frontman Roger Miret. The band started when Miret was writing songs that were not a style suitable for Lady Luck or Agnostic Front, so he starting recording them on his own on a Boss recorder. Johnny Rioux had previously mentioned he would like to work with him, so Rioux helped Miret on what originally started as a solo project. Then Miret met Rhys Kill, who liked the material and joined in on the project. The band then recorded a demo tape, with Miret and Kill on guitar, Rioux on bass and Matt Kelly from the Dropkick Murphys on drums. That six-song demo found reviewed by Lars Frederiksen, who passed it off to his Rancid bandmate Tim Armstrong. He asked Miret to put his project out on Hellcat Records. As Kelly could not continue with Miret due to his commitments with Dropkick Murphys, Miret asked Johnny Kray of The Krays and New York Rel-X to join on drums. After a couple rehearsals, they decided to make it a band.

The album is also known as Live Code 6007042 02528 in North America or Live Code 5413356 424225 in Europe, depending on the UPC-EAN. It would later contrast the band's 1998 experimental live album Re-Boot: Live '98.

<i>Millennium</i> (Front Line Assembly album) 1994 studio album by Front Line Assembly

Millennium is the seventh full-length studio album by industrial band Front Line Assembly, released in 1994 by Roadrunner Records on both Compact Disc and LP formats. The album is also being planned for an LP release in 2020, by the Canadian label Artoffact. The album marks the first major use of metal guitars, shifing in musical direction from their typical electro-industrial sound. The riffs were obtained from samples and the musicianship of the then unknown Devin Townsend of Strapping Young Lad, who would also contribute and perform on the next album.

C-Tec was an EBM band originally formed as a side project in 1995 by Jean-Luc De Meyer, Jonathan Sharp, and Ged Denton. The name was taken from Cyber-Tec Records, who released the band's debut EP. Afterward, Jonathan Sharp left the band, and Marc Heal joined as a full-time member.

Empirion are a British industrial dance band, from Essex, England. They were formed in 1993, and the original line-up consisted of Austin Morsely, Bob Glennie and Jamie Smart.

PIAS Recordings

PIAS Recordings was founded in 1983 in Belgium as Play It Again Sam by Kenny Gates and Michel Lambot. Play It Again Sam expanded along with other European independent labels in the early 1980s. Play It Again Sam's early artists were Front 242, Meat Beat Manifesto and The Young Gods. They added artists such as The Sound, Soulwax/2ManyDJ's, Sigur Rós and Mogwai.

"Funkahdafi" is a 1985 song by Belgian electronic band Front 242 about Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. The song is one of the band's concert favorites. "Funkahdafi" first appeared on the EP Politics of Pressure (1985) and was written by Daniel Bressanutti. It also appeared on the band's compilation album Back Catalogue (1987).

<i>Mechanical Soul</i> 2021 studio album by Front Line Assembly

Mechanical Soul is the seventeenth full-length studio album by Vancouver industrial band Front Line Assembly. It was released on January 15, 2021 on CD, vinyl and digitally through Metropolis. It features Jean-Luc de Meyer from Belgian EBM group Front 242 and Dino Cazares from American industrial metal band Fear Factory. It contains a remix of the track "Hatevol" from the predecessor album Wake Up the Coma.
