Hybrid Theory is the debut studio album by American rock band Linkin Park, released on October 24, 2000, through Warner Bros. Records. Recorded at NRG Recordings in North Hollywood, California, and produced by Don Gilmore, the album's lyrical themes deal with problems lead vocalist Chester Bennington experienced during his adolescence, including drug abuse and the constant fighting and divorce of his parents. Hybrid Theory takes its title from the previous name of the band as well as the concept of music theory and combining different styles. This is also the only album on which bassist Dave Farrell does not play.

Alternative Airplay is a music chart in the United States that has appeared in Billboard magazine since September 10, 1988. One-X is the second studio album by Canadian rock band Three Days Grace. Black Gives Way to Blue is the fourth studio album by the American rock band Alice in Chains, released on September 29, 2009, on the 17th anniversary of the release of their second album, Dirt. It is their first record without original lead singer Layne Staley, who died in 2002, and their first album with new vocalist and rhythm guitarist William DuVall sharing vocal duties with lead guitarist/vocalist Jerry Cantrell, who sings lead vocals on most of the songs. The title track is a tribute to Staley featuring Elton John on piano. Shaman's Harvest is an American alternative metal band from Jefferson City, Missouri. Bassist Matt Fisher, singer Nathan "Drake" Hunt, and guitarist Josh Hamler founded the band in 1996. Ryan Tomlinson joined the band on lead guitar for their 2009 album Shine. Shaman's Harvest released their fifth full-length album titled Smokin' Hearts & Broken Guns on September 16, 2014. This release marked their debut on Mascot Records.

Rainier Fog is the sixth studio album by American rock band Alice in Chains, released on August 24, 2018, through BMG, the band's first release on the label. The title was inspired by Mount Rainier, a volcano that overlooks the Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan area, and the title track is a tribute to the Seattle music scene. This is the band's third album with William DuVall sharing lead vocals with Jerry Cantrell, and the first Alice in Chains album in 22 years to be recorded in their hometown of Seattle. The album was partially recorded at Seattle's Studio X, the same studio where the band recorded their 1995 self-titled album. Rainier Fog is also Alice in Chains' third collaboration with producer Nick Raskulinecz, marking their first time recording three full-length albums with the same producer.
Greta Van Fleet is an American hard rock band. The band released their debut studio EP, Black Smoke Rising in 2017. Their debut single, "Highway Tune", topped the Billboard US Mainstream Rock and Active Rock charts in September 2017 for four weeks in a row. A second EP running at 32 minutes From the Fires, containing the four songs from Black Smoke Rising and four new songs, was released on November 10, 2017, alongside a second single, "Safari Song". Their debut full length studio album running at 49 minutes, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, was released on October 19, 2018 and it topped the Billboard Rock Albums chart in the first week after its release, with the album's first single, "When the Curtain Falls", being released ahead of it in July 2018, and eventually becoming the band's third number one US single on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart. Anthem of the Peaceful Army also launched atop the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart, and reached the number one spot on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart in the first week after its release. The 64 minute album, The Battle at Garden's Gate was released on October 9, 2020 with their singles "Heat Above", "Light My Love", and "My Way, Soon". It debuted at number 8 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band has scheduled their third album Starcatcher to be released on July 21, 2023, through Lava and Republic Records.
