Red Rooster Racing is an Indian Motorsports team which took part in rallying and racing events for three years from 2008 to 2010. Its parent company Red Rooster Performance's goal is to build the market for performance motoring in India. Quoting lack of sponsors, the team withdrew [1] from the Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) before the start of the 2011 season. [2] Of the three years in rallying, Red Rooster Racing' won the championship twice in 2008 and 2010. Red Rooster teams, Vikram Mathias and co-driver PVS Murthy won INRC 2008 [3] [4] while VR Naren Kumar won the title in 2010 [5] along with co-driver Ram Kumar. [6]

Red Rooster Racing entered Indian motorsports on 8 June 2008 in multiple disciplines including rallying (cars and motorcycles), circuit racing (cars and motorcycles), and karting. It was the only team which took part in different disciplines of motorsport for a three-year period. Apart from INRC, Red Rooster Racing teams took part in National Racing Championship both for cars and bikes. It also took part in a rally raid cross-country event by entering Raid de Himalaya in 2009 and the Asian Road Racing Championship in 2009.

The team was founded by Dinesh Reddy, a third-generation entrepreneur, and former director of family-owned Nutrine Confectionery Limited.

Multiple rally champion and reputed tuner N. Leelakrishnan joined as technical director of Red Rooster Racing along with Andrew Morrice of Mezzo International, Singapore. The team is reported to have spent Rs.2 crore in the first year to set up the teams. [7]

The company's objective was to promote Indian talent in a wide range of motorsport disciplines. [8]

The team took part in the Malaysian Motorbike Super Series, the PETRONAS FIM Asian GP series, held in 2008 and scored podium standings in the Expert and Novice disciplines. [9]

Australian motorcycle Grand Prix

The Australian motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. From 1997 to the present day, it is run at the scenic Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit south of Melbourne, Victoria. Prior to 1997 the event was held at a number of different venues, most notably Eastern Creek west of Sydney New South Wales and Bathurst in central western New South Wales. The only rider to win the 'premier class' race at multiple venues is five-time World Champion Mick Doohan, Eastern Creek and Phillip Island (1998).

Indianapolis motorcycle Grand Prix

The Indianapolis Grand Prix is a motorcycling event held on the combined road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana. From 2008 to 2015, it was held as part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season (MotoGP). The event was revived in 2020 with MotoAmerica.

Opatija Circuit

Mahindra Racing is a motor racing team based in Banbury, United Kingdom, competing with an Indian racing licence. N. Leelakrishnan, also known as Leela in Indian motorsport circles, is a six-time INRC Motor Rally Champion and one time Formula 3 (India) champion from Coimbatore, India. He is also a Rally and Race car tuner and is currently the Chief Technical Director of Red Rooster Racing. His rally tuned cars have won 15 National Championship titles driven by himself, V. R. Naren Kumar and Vikram Mathias, thus winning the tuners trophy several times.now he owns his own team, arka motorsports, Coimbatore. He runs the factory teams for Mahindra and Mahindra and Toyota

Karna Kadur is an Indian National Rally Champion. He is the Motorsports Manager and development driver at Red Rooster Performance. He is also the Driving Instructor at Red Rooster Performance Motorsports Academy.

Aishwarya Pissay

Aishwarya Pissay is an Indian circuit and off-road motorcycle racer. She has become the first-ever Indian athlete to win a world title in motorsport on motorcycles. The TVS talent participated at the FIM Bajas World Cup and secured the 1st place in the women's category and 2nd in the junior's category. She is the first Indian woman to win 6 National titles in Circuit Racing and Rally Championship combined. She found her passion in racing as she turned 18, while taking small road trips around her home town of Bengaluru, consequently learning how to master the art of riding a bike. This hobby grew into a profession as she won 4 National titles in Road Racing and Rally Championship in 2016 and 2017 and competed in the National Rally Championship in 2018, winning it as well. She also became the first Indian woman to compete in the Baja Aragon World Rally in Spain held in 2018.
