Redbridge Institute of Adult Education is the adult education service for the London Borough of Redbridge. It is largely funded through the Mayor Of London's Adult Education Budget and runs part-time qualification and non-qualification courses for adults.
Annually there are over 2500 leaners and 4500 enrolments who complete programs of study in ESOL, Skills for Life (English, Maths and Digital) and on vocational qualification courses. Redbridge Institute also offers specialist courses in Creative and Visual Arts including art, clothes making, jewellery, mosaics and glass fusing, pottery, stained glass and textiles.
Redbridge Institute runs courses throughout the London Borough of Redbridge, working with a variety of local community partners. Its main centres are in Gaysham Avenue in Gants Hill, The Mildmay Centre in Central Ilford, and Hainault Community Centre.

The University of East London began as the West Ham Technical Institute and it was officially opened in October 1898 after approval was given for the construction of the site by the West Ham Technical Instruction Act Committee in 1892 following the Technical Instruction Act of 1889. It gained university status in 1992. It was formerly known as College of East London.

It adjoins Woodford Green to the north, Walthamstow to the west, Snaresbrook and Wanstead to the south and Redbridge to the east, and is 8.9 miles (14.3 km) north-east of Charing Cross. Epping Forest runs adjacent to South Woodford in the west of the area.

The London Borough of Redbridge Parks Police Service was a body of constables responsible for policing the parks and open spaces in the London Borough of Redbridge. The service was headed by Chief Officer John Boylin, the former Metropolitan Police Borough Commander for Redbridge. Policing was provided by two shifts, each consisting of one sergeant and six constables. On 31 October 2011, the service was disbanded and replaced by a Council-funded team of Metropolitan Police officers known as the "Redbridge Community Police Team".
Walsall College is a further education college in Walsall, West Midlands, England.
New City College (NCC) is a large college of further education with campuses in East London and Essex. The college was formed in 2016 with the amalgamation of separate colleges, beginning with the merger between Tower Hamlets College and Hackney Community College, followed by the gradual additions of Redbridge College, Epping Forest College, and both Havering College of Further and Higher Education, Havering Sixth Form College and BSix Sixth Form College. It is the second largest provider of post-16 education in the country since 2019.
