Molde Fotballklubb is a professional football club based in Molde, Norway, that competes in Eliteserien, the top flight of Norwegian football. Founded on 19 June 1911, the club was originally known as International and changed its name to Molde in 1915. Molde are five-time league champions and six-time Norwegian Cup winners, and have finished second in the league a further eleven times. Molde is one of only two Norwegian clubs to have participated in the UEFA Champions League.
Sportsklubben Brann is a Norwegian professional football club based in Bergen. Founded on 26 September 1908, Brann has been in the Eliteserien, Norway's premier division of football, since 1987, except in 2015 and 2022, when they played in the 1. divisjon. They play their home matches at Brann Stadion where they had a record-breaking average attendance of 17,310 in the 2007 season, the season in which they won their first league title since 1963.
Viking Fotballklubb, commonly known as Viking or Viking Stavanger internationally, is a Norwegian football club from the city of Stavanger. The club was founded in 1899. It is one of the most successful clubs in Norwegian football, having won 8 Norwegian top division titles, most recently in 1991, and 6 domestic Norwegian Cup titles, most recently in 2019. The club has played more top-flight league games than any other club in Norway. It has played in the top division since the league was established, except for the years 1966–67, 1987–88 and 2018. Notable European successes include knocking English side Chelsea out of the UEFA Cup during the 2002–03 season, knocking out Sporting CP from the same tournament in 1999–2000, and qualifying for the group stages of the 2005–06 UEFA Cup.
Roald Jensen, nicknamed "Kniksen", was one of Norway's most celebrated football players. He played for SK Brann and Heart of Midlothian F.C. ("Hearts"). Knicksen is a local Bergen word meaning "juggler".

Cato Guntveit is a retired Norwegian footballer who played for SK Brann the most of his career. He was the captain of Brann from 2004 until Brann coach Mons Ivar Mjelde decided Martin Andresen should take over the captaincy prior to the 2006 season. Guntveit played briefly for local club Fana before joining Brann in 1995. He also spent two seasons at Aberdeen, but played in Brann from 2002 to 2010. Guntveit is married and has three children. One of the few "local lads" in Brann, he owns and works in a toyshop in Bergen. He retired from football in after the 2010 season.
Nicolai Misje is a Norwegian footballer who plays for Åsane.

Harald Olav Aabrekk is a Norwegian football coach and a former player. He played for Sogndal and Brann in the Tippeligaen, Norway's top professional football league. He has been head coach of Sogndal, Tromsø, Brann, Haugesund, Vålerenga and Aalesund, and has also served as an assistant coach for the Norway national football team.
Alex Marcel Lund Valencia is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a right winger for Åsane. He has previously played for top-flight clubs in Norway and Denmark. Valencia is of Colombian descent and has been capped for the Norwegian national team in both football and futsal.
The 2008 season was SK Brann's 100th season and their 22nd consecutive season in the Tippeligaen.
Vegard Valgermo Forren is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for KÍ Klaksvík. He was capped over 30 times for the Norway national team.
Eirik Markegård is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a striker for the Norwegian fifth Division side Jardar. He has previously played for Stabæk and Strømsgodset in Tippeligaen as well as Hønefoss, Sandefjord, Tønsberg and Follo in lower leagues. Markegård was runner-up in the Norwegian Cup in 2010 with Follo.
Ulrich Møller is a Norwegian former footballer, who played his entire senior career for Molde. He played as a defender and was capped twice for Norway.
Karl-Gunnar "Kalle" Björklund is a Swedish former football player and coach. He has served as coach in several clubs in Scandinavia. As a player, Björklund earned 14 caps for Sweden, and the midfielder won Allsvenskan with Östers IF three times. He is the father of Joachim Björklund.

Molde Fotballklubb is a football club from Molde, Norway. It was established in 1911 as International by a group of people gathered by Klaus Daae Andersen. After permission was granted, it took the current name and joined the league system in 1928. Until 1937, Molde played in regional leagues, after numerous promotions and relegations. Since 1930, the team has played in the Norwegian Football Cup. In 1939, the club joined the third season of the League of Norway, the top division, but the break-out of the World War II caused a halt to all organized sports and thus this season was never completed.
