She first attracted acclaim for her film Never Steady, Never Still, which premiered as a short film in 2015 before being expanded into her feature film debut in 2017. The film received eight Canadian Screen Award nominations at the 6th Canadian Screen Awards in 2018, including Best Picture and a Best Original Screenplay nomination for Hepburn.

Jump, Darling is a 2020 Canadian drama film directed by Phil Connell. The film stars Thomas Duplessie as Russell, a rookie drag queen reeling from a break-up, who escapes to Prince Edward County, where he finds his grandmother Margaret in steep decline yet desperate to avoid the local nursing home. The film was one of Leachman's final performances before her death in 2021.

The film stars Shawn Doyle as Keele, a hitman who is on his final assignment before retiring; after he and his partner Palmer's successful killing of the target is witnessed by sex worker Peyton, Keele abducts her with the intention of helping her escape the country for her safety before Palmer can find and kill her.
Queen Tut is a Canadian coming-of-age drama film, directed by Reem Morsi and released in 2023.
