Reginald Jack "Reg" Zeuner (born 19 January 1928) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for West Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and Perth in the Western Australian National Football League (WANFL).

Career

Zeuner began his career with the West Adelaide colts team in 1945, and was promoted to the senior team in 1946. In 1947 he led West Adelaide's goalkicking with 53 goals, including five in the club's premiership victory over Norwood. In 1949 Zeuner transferred to WANFL side Perth, where he played mainly as a forward, substituting as a ruckman when Merv McIntosh was unfit. In 1952, Zeuner returned to West Adelaide, having previously had a clearance to Geelong in the Victorian Football League (VFL) refused. [1] He returned to Perth in 1954, and played in Perth's 1955 premiership victory, kicking two goals. [2] Playing as Perth's main ruckman after the retirement of McIntosh before the 1956 season, Zeuner finished runner-up in the 1956 Sandover Medal to East Perth's Graham Farmer. He later won Perth's best and fairest in 1958, before retiring at the end of the 1959 season. [3] Zeuner also represented the WANFL as a forward at the 1950 Brisbane and 1953 Adelaide Carnivals, as well as one match in 1957. In 1999, he was selected as a reserve in Perth's Team of the Century. [4]

Gregory John Brehaut was an Australian rules football player and coach who played with the Perth Football Club in the Western Australian National Football League (WANFL) and the Woodville Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Playing mainly as a wingman, he also represented Western Australia in 16 interstate matches, and later coached the East Perth Football Club between 1983 and 1986, before dying in 1993 at the age of 46 from a heart attack. Brehaut was posthumously inducted into the West Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

Ronald Douglas Tucker was an Australian rules footballer who played for Perth and Subiaco in the Western Australian National Football League (WANFL). Playing in a number of positions, though primarily at centre half-forward, Tucker kicked a total of 803 goals in 215 WANFL games between 1940 and 1955, and 32 goals in 14 games for Western Australia in interstate matches. Tucker was named in Perth's Team of the Century in 1998, and was inducted into the West Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2009.

Donald Anthony Marinko is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the West Perth and East Perth Football Clubs in the Western Australian National Football League (WANFL). The son of former West Perth and Subiaco player Don Marinko Sr., Marinko began his career at West Perth in 1952, playing a total of 164 games for the club mainly as a centreman, including as captain-coach of the side in 1959. He transferred to East Perth for the 1961 season, but his career was ended by a knee injury prior to the start of the 1963 season. Marinko also played 13 interstate matches for Western Australia, including the 1953 Australian National Football Carnival.

The 1952 WANFL season was the 68th season of senior football in Perth, Western Australia.
