Regal Cinemas was one of the first cinema chains in the United Kingdom. In 1928, Regal Cinemas became part of Associated British Cinemas but retained the name 'Regal Cinemas'. [1] Many of the Regal Cinemas closed during the second half of the 20th century.
The surviving Regal Cinemas in Cromer and Redruth are owned by Merlin Cinemas. The Regal in Henley is owned by Picturehouse.
The town of Northwich has a campaign to bring back their Regal Cinema after it closed in 2007, having served the town for 60 years. The Regal Northwich was an independent cinema run by Cheshire County Cinemas and was not part of the Regal chain. It opened with the film Storm in a Teacup . [2]

The Walden Galleria is an automobile-oriented, regional shopping mall located in Cheektowaga, a suburb of Buffalo, New York located east of Interstate 90 and New York State Thruway Exit 52 off Walden Avenue. The Walden Galleria comprises more than 1,600,000 square feet (150,000 m2) of retail space, with 190 stores on two levels, including a food court and a movie theater. The Galleria has department stores, JCPenney and Macy's; with additional anchors including Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, DSW Shoe Warehouse, Forever 21, Old Navy, and a Regal Cinemas multiplex. The third department store, Sears closed in April 2017 with Kids for Less occupying a portion of the space. The fourth department store, Lord & Taylor closed on December 29, 2020. The mall is owned and managed by The Pyramid Companies of Syracuse, New York, the same management firm that developed it.

The mall's anchor stores are JCPenney, Bow Tie Cinemas, Dick's Sporting Goods, Healthy Living Market, Planet Fitness, and HomeGoods. There are 2 vacant anchor stores that were once Sears and The Bon-Ton. In addition, it features a food court. It is currently owned by Macerich, having been purchased from Wilmorite Properties of Rochester, New York in 2004. The Bon-Ton, originally an Addis & Dey's, closed in August 2018. On November 8, 2018, it was announced that Sears would close in early 2019, as part of a plan to close 40 stores.
ABC Cinemas was a cinema chain in the United Kingdom. Originally a wholly owned subsidiary of Associated British Picture Corporation (ABPC), it operated between the 1930s and the 1980s. The brand name was reused in the 1990s until 2000.
Berkshire Mall was a shopping mall located in Lanesborough, Massachusetts outside Pittsfield. The mall was built in 1988 and closed in 2019. It can be reached from both Route 8 and U.S. Route 7. There have been many changes in the mall's anchors since its opening. The mall was last anchored by Target, and Berkshire Mall 10 with four vacant anchors last occupied by Best Buy, JCPenney, Macy's, and Sears.

The shopping mall first opened in 1955 as an open-air center and has been expanded several times, with its biggest expansion occurring between 1989 and 1991. The Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse, Northwich, Cheshire, records the social, cultural and industrial history of west Cheshire. It was formerly known as the Salt Museum, reflecting its early focus on the history of salt extraction, a local industry dating back to Roman times. The museum was renamed Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse in 2010 as its remit now extends to cover the broader history of the area and also the history of the building itself as a former workhouse.
West Town Mall is a shopping mall located in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States. Opened in August 1972, this one-level mall is located in the western portion of Knoxville in the West Hills community. West Town Mall is located along Interstates 40/75 and Kingston Pike. The mall has 1,339,000 square feet (124,397 m2) of gross leasable area, making it the largest of any enclosed shopping mall in Tennessee. The anchor stores are Dillard's, Dick's House of Sport, 2 Belk stores, JCPenney, and Cinebarre.
Charles Towne Square was an indoor shopping mall located in North Charleston, South Carolina opened in 1976 by developer Melvin Simon & Associates. It was most noted for its large "town square" style clock and children's train ride during Christmas time. The mall's tenants included original anchors Montgomery Ward, JCPenney and Edward's, a local department store which would later be sold to Kuhn's-Big K and renamed "Big K-Edwards." Big K-Edwards closed and Wilson's Catalog Showrooms moved into the space. The Wilson's chain was later sold to Service Merchandise. In addition to the mall's anchors, the shopping complex also featured approximately 75 specialty stores and a General Cinemas. The mall opened with great fanfare in 1976 with a Charlestonian bi-centennial theme. Television celebrity Ed McMahon led the festivities, complete with American revolutionary war-era costumes. Other special guests included World War II soldier Mark Clark, football player Rosey Grier, and Claude Akins.
In its days as an entertainment centre for London, Harringay in North London also provided more locally directed entertainment in the shape of four cinemas. The earliest was opened in 1910 and was operating as a cinema until January 2003.
In 1898 William Morton's Theatre Royal showed a 'Veriscope' film, probably the first time any film was shown in a Hull theatre. The Prince's Hall was the first purpose-built cinema in Kingston upon Hull, and was opened in George Street by Morton in 1910. As Hull embraced the new age of public entertainment, attendances at traditional theatre declined. Luxurious cinemas, taking their inspiration from theatres and music halls, were built to accommodate audiences in almost every neighbourhood in the city. By 1914, there were 29 cinemas, theatres and halls showing films in the city. The London and Provincial Cinema Company owned the Hippodrome; the National Electric Picture Theatres owned the Theatre de Luxe, but Morton's was the largest and most influential cinema chain in Hull.
Neighborhood Cinema Group, branded as NCG Cinemas, is a movie theater chain headquartered in Owosso, Michigan and are owned and operated by the Geiger family. The chain consists at present of 25 theaters with 147 screens. Most of the theaters are located in Michigan with 10 locations, especially in the Flint/Tri-Cities region and the Greater Lansing area. The group also operates in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, New York State, North and South Carolina and Tennessee.
Three Rivers Mall is an enclosed shopping mall located in Kelso, Washington that opened in 1987, on the site of a former golf course adjacent to Interstate 5. Previously owned by General Growth Properties, the mall was one of 30 malls that was spun off into Rouse Properties in 2012. Rouse was acquired by Brookfield Properties Retail Group in 2016. In July 2019, Brookfield sold the mall to Arizona-based Three Rivers Village, LLC.
Champlain Centre North is a shopping mall in Plattsburgh, New York. Opened in 1987, the mall features JCPenney, Target, Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, DSW, Hobby Lobby, Kohl's, Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Five Below, and a Regal Entertainment Group-owned movie theater.
