Reginald Van Brown (born March 12, 1960) is a former American football running back and coach. He played in the National Football League for the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles [1] , and in the original USFL for the Los Angeles Express and Arizona Outlaws [2] . He was the running backs coach for the 2003 Berlin Thunder [3] [4] . He played college football for the Oregon Ducks.

He previously served as the running backs coach at the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2010, until the NCAA issued a one-year show-cause penalty against him as part of sanctions related to the ineligibility of one of his former players, Reggie Bush. McNair had a long-running lawsuit pending against the NCAA for libel, slander, breach of contract and four other alleged offenses. The lawsuit finally was settled through mediation after ten years.

An offensive assistant at both the collegiate and professional levels, he held coordinator positions in the National Football League (NFL) with the Washington Redskins in 2003, the Atlanta Falcons in 2007, the Oakland Raiders in 2010, and the Cincinnati Bengals from 2014 to 2015. He also served as the head coach of the Raiders in 2011 and Cleveland Browns from 2016 to 2018.
