Reginald Ruffin is an American college football coach and athletics administrator. He is athletic director at Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama, a position he has held since December 2021. [1] Ruffin served as the head football coach at Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama from 2011 to 2021. [2]

Reggie Devon Barlow is a former American football player and coach who is currently the head coach for the DC Defenders of the United Football League (UFL). Barlow served as the head football coach at Alabama State University from 2007 to 2014 and at Virginia State University from 2016 to 2021. He played professionally as wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons, five for the Jacksonville Jaguars, two for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and one with the Oakland Raiders. He was used as a secondary wide receiver and punt returner. In 1997, Barlow led the NFL in punt return yards with 555 yards on 43 returns.
Samuel Richard Shade is an American football coach and former player. He is the head football coach for Miles College, a position he has held since 2022. He played eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL) from 1995 to 2002 as a safety for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Washington Redskins. Shade played college football at the University of Alabama and was selected in the fourth round of the 1995 NFL Draft.
Dameyune Vashon Craig is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the wide receivers coach at Georgia State University. He was most recently the wide receivers coach at Texas A&M University. Craig played professionally as quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for four seasons with the Carolina Panthers.
Anthony Andrew Jones is an American football coach and former player. He was most recently the head football coach at Elizabeth City State University, a position he has held from 2018 to 2021. He served as head coach at Morehouse College from 1999 to 2001, and Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University from 2002 to 2013,. Jones played eight seasons as a tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Redskins and San Diego Chargers during the 1980s. He was a member of the Redskins' 1987 Super Bowl championship team.
Rick Comegy is an American former college football and college baseball coach. On January 21, 2014, Comegy was introduced as the head coach at Mississippi Valley State. He previously served as the head football coach at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi from 2006 to 2013. He was named JSU head coach on December 9, 2005 after ten years as head coach of Tuskegee University, where he compiled a 90–26 record. He has also served as head coach of Cheyney University and Central State University, where he won the NAIA national football championship in 1995. He served as an assistant coach at Central State under former Billy Joe in the 80s and 90s.
Ruffin Horne McNeill Jr. is an American football coach and former player who currently serves as the special assistant to the head coach at NC State University. He previously served as the assistant head coach and outside linebackers coach at the University of Oklahoma and the assistant head coach and defensive line coach at the University of Virginia. McNeill also served as the head coach of the East Carolina Pirates from 2010 to 2015. Before being named head coach of the Pirates, McNeill served the Texas Tech Red Raiders as an interim head coach, assistant head coach, special teams coordinator, and linebackers coach. On December 28, 2009, he was named interim head coach of the Red Raiders following the suspension and later firing of head coach Mike Leach. He served in the position until the hiring of Tommy Tuberville, who subsequently released him as defensive coordinator.
LeRoy Victor Smith was an American former football coach. He coached in four decades, his lifetime record was 106–77–7.
Leon Douglas is an American basketball coach and former professional player. He played seven seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) before transitioning to an extensive professional career overseas in Europe. After retiring, Douglas went into coaching, leading several HBCU programs in his home state of Alabama in his career.
Cleveland Leigh "Cleve" Abbott was an American football player, coach and educator. He was the head coach of the Tuskegee University Golden Tigers football team from 1923 to 1954.
Whitney L. Van Cleve was an American college football coach. He served as the head football coach at Tuskegee University from 1955 to 1963, Alabama State University from 1964 to 1968, Hampton University from 1969 to 1973, and Albany State University from 1977 to 1979, compiling career head coaching record of92–110–10.
Haywood Scissum was an American football coach. He was the 11th head football coach at Tuskegee Institute—now known as Tuskegee University—in Tuskegee, Alabama, serving for 11 seasons, from 1970 to 1980, a comping a record of 65–49–1. A native of Attalla, Alabama, Scissum played college football as the end, and tackle positions in the late 1940s. Prior to his hiring at Tuskegee in 1970, he was the head football coach at East Highland High School in Sylacauga, Alabama for 20 years, amassing a record of 135–29–11.
Lonzo Bullie is an American former college football coach. He served as the head football coach at Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama from 1981 to 1983 and Knoxville College in Knoxville, Tennessee from 1984 to 1989.
James A. Martin Sr. was an American football and baseball coach and college athletics administrator. He was served as the head football coach at Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama for nine seasons, from 1984 to 1993, compiling a record of 43–43–2. Martin also had two stints as Tuskegee's head baseball coach, from 1971 to 1982 and 1984 to 1988, and was the school's athletic director from 1987 to 1993. He was the athletic director at South Carolina State University from 1993 to 1995, Long Island University (LIU) from 1995 to 1996, and Alabama A&M University from 1996 to 2006.
Willie James Slater is an American football coach and college athletics administrator. He was the head football coach for Clark Atlanta University; a position he has held from 2022 to 2023. Slater served as the head football coach at Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama, from 2006 to 2021. His teams won the Pioneer Bowl in 2006, 2007, and 2009. In 2007, his undefeated squad was named the black small college football national champions and claimed outright or has shared that crown more times. Slater was appointed as athletic director at Tuskegee in 2017. In December 2021, Tuskegee hired Reginald Ruffin from Miles College to succeed Slater as head football coach and athletic director.
Edward L. Jackson was an American football and basketball coach and administrator for several historically black colleges and universities in the Eastern United States. He served as the head football coach at Delaware State University, Johnson C. Smith University and Howard University, altering his tenures among the three schools over the course of 23 years. Not once during his football coaching career did a team of his finish with a sub-.500 record. Jackson also coached basketball at Johnson C. Smith and Delaware State.
The Tuskegee Golden Tigers represent Tuskegee University in intercollegiate athletics. They are a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and compete within the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). The university has a total of 10 varsity sports teams, five men's teams called the "Golden Tigers", and five women's teams called the "Tigerettes".

He played college football for Tuskegee as an offensive lineman.
