Reis Ashraf (born 18 September 1989) is a former footballer who played as a forward. Born in England, he played for the Pakistan national team. [1]
Ashraf was a junior at Newport Pagnell Town before joining Coventry City in 2002. [2] He later played for Leamington and Olney Town. [3]
Ashraf played for Pakistan in all three of his country's group matches against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan in the SAFF Championship 2009 in Bangladesh, scoring in the team's 7–0 victory over Bhutan. [4] [5]
Born in England, Reis is cousin of former Wales international footballer Daniel Nardiello. [6]

Newport Pagnell is a town and civil parish in the City of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England. The Office for National Statistics records Newport Pagnell as part of the Milton Keynes urban area.
The Bangladesh national football team is the national recognised football team of Bangladesh and is controlled by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). It is a member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) since 1973 and of FIFA since 1974, even though the Bangladesh Football Federation was first founded in 1972. Bangladesh was elected as a member of the AFC Executive Committee in 1982–1986 and 1998–2002. The current Executive Committee was elected democratically, under an AFC approved constitution and direct supervision of FIFA & AFC, in October 2020.

The 2021 SAFF Championship, known as Ooredoo SAFF Championship 2021 for sponsorship reasons, was the thirteenth edition of the SAFF Championship, the biennial international men's football championship of South Asia organised by South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). Initially, it was decided to be hosted by Pakistan in 2020, but was postponed to September 2021 in Bangladesh. However, the tournament was postponed again to October due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with Maldives as host.
The 2018 SAFF U-15 Championship was the fifth edition of the SAFF U-15 Championship, an international football competition for men's under-15 national teams organized by SAFF. The tournament was hosted by Nepal from October 25 to November 3, 2018, at ANFA Complex in Lalitpur, Nepal. Six out of seven teams from the region took part, as Sri Lanka later withdrew their team, and the teams were divided into two groups. On 3 November 2018, Bangladesh beat Pakistan to claim their second SAFF title.
The 2018–19 season will be the 71st in Pakistani football. It was the first season in Pakistan football after FIFA lifted its ban on Pakistan from all footballing activities which was implemented on 10 October 2017.
