Resistencia Civil (Civil Resistance) is a libertarian political movement in Venezuela which advocates classical liberal principles i.e. limited government and free market. The movement is led by Domingo Alberto Rangel, [1] who holds the rank of executive secretary of the Resistencia Civil. [2] Guillermo Rodríguez is the chief economist of the movement. [1]

Resistencia is the capital and largest city of the province of Chaco in north-eastern Argentina. According to the 2010 census, the population of the city proper was 291,720 inhabitants. He fought for the Republicans in the Spanish Civil War, for the French Resistance in World War II, and led a failed invasion of Spain in 1944 to oust Francisco Franco. After the Liberation of France Lopez Tovar was decorated with the Legion d'honneur and the Croix de Guerre. A street is named after him in Toulouse, France.

Alicia Terada is an Argentine politician who served as a National Deputy elected in Chaco Province. A member of the Civic Coalition ARI, Terada was first elected in 2009, serving a four-year term until 2013. Despite running for re-election in 2013, she only took office in 2014 in replacement of Miguel Ángel Tejedor. She sat in the Juntos por el Cambio parliamentary inter-bloc from 2019 to 2021.
