Bury Your Dead is an American metalcore band from Boston, Massachusetts formed in 2001. The current lineup is Mat Bruso on lead vocals, Chris Towning on guitar, Aaron Patrick on bass, and Mark Castillo on drums. To date they have had eight releases; one EP: Bury Your Dead, one live DVD: Alive, and six studio albums: You Had Me at Hello, Cover Your Tracks, Beauty and the Breakdown, Bury Your Dead, It's Nothing Personal and Mosh N' Roll.

The Ghost Inside, formerly known as A Dying Dream, is an American metalcore band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of vocalist Jonathan Vigil, guitarists Zach Johnson and Chris Davis, bassist Jim Riley and drummer Andrew Tkaczyk. They have released one EP and five studio albums, with their latest, The Ghost Inside, released on June 5, 2020 via Epitaph Records as a return from their hiatus.

Speak Like You Talk is the first studio album by Los Angeles band Letlive. Even though there are 12 songs on the album, there at 69 tracks in total. Of these tracks, eight are individual full-length songs, 3 tracks make up the collective song "2 in 6.8 Billion", and 58 tracks make up the hidden song which is revealed as "You are Not Your Username" followed by a Roman numeral for each track. In the CD cover, under the lyrics for "2 in 6.8 Billion", it reads "this is fellowship not follow ship not to be confused as this ships bow martyr." Which is what the hidden song opens with. The mention of martyrs is uncanny to the first track of Letlive.'s next album.

Skydancer is the third studio album by Australian metalcore band In Hearts Wake. It was released on 1 May 2015 through UNFD and Rise Records. It was produced by Josh Schroeder, Dan Brown and Troy Brady. It is the continuation of their second studio album Earthwalker. The album peaked at No. 2 at official ARIA Charts. It's the last album to feature Caleb Burton as a writer, with his departure following the release of Skydancer. Nic Pettersen of Northlane played drums on the album, with Caleb being unable to secure a US Visa in time to record the album; producer Josh Schroeder revealed on Reddit that he was originally going to track drums for both Earthwalker and Skydancer, going as far as writing the drum tracks for both records and practicing as a touring member for the upcoming shows close to his studio.
