Ho is believed to have directed more than one hundred films, including over 80 movies from 1980 to 1990 before his retirement in 2000. Reuben were an English three-piece musical group from Camberley, Surrey. Their music is a fusion of alternative rock and heavy metal, as their songs cover a variety of styles, ranging from heavy and upbeat, such as their 2005 single "Blamethrower" to slower, more melodic songs such as their 2004 single "Moving to Blackwater". The former style of song often featured vocalist Jamie Lenman switching between shouting and whispering, a technique often used in heavy metal and post-hardcore music. The band performed in the UK underground music scene. Although they attracted a significant fanbase, Reuben never achieved mainstream success, but did chart four songs in the UK Singles Chart. Their highest charting single was 2004's "Freddy Kreuger", that reached UK No. 53.
Racecar Is Racecar Backwards is the debut full-length album by the British rock band Reuben. It was recorded between July and November 2003, and was produced by Jason Wilson at Stakeout Studios when it was based in Chobham. The album's third single, "Freddy Krueger", placed 53rd on the UK Singles Charts and is the band's most recognized song.
"Stuck with Me" is a song by American rock band Green Day. It was released as the second single and third track from their fourth album, Insomniac. The song is about being too weak and too much of a push-over to stand up for yourself. The song also appears on the live album Foot in Mouth. It peaked at number 26 on the UK Singles Chart. Originally this song was titled "Alright" on demo and later "Do Da Da". The demo with the latter title would be later released on the band's B-side compilation Shenanigans.
The Killing Zone is an unauthorised James Bond novel by Jim Hatfield. It was privately published in paperback in 1985 under the guise that it was officially sanctioned by Glidrose Publications, the company that held the rights to publish James Bond literary works. "Evergreen" is a song co-written by Jörgen Elofsson, Per Magnusson and David Kreuger, and originally recorded by Irish boy band Westlife. The song appears on their album World of Our Own. "Keep it to Yourself" is the ninth single by Surrey-based rock band Reuben, and the third single taken from their second album, Very Fast Very Dangerous. It was released in September 2005, one week ahead of the album. The single was available on three formats: CD, 7" vinyl and a limited edition yellow vinyl version, each released with different b-sides. Like previous single 'A Kick in the Mouth', it received good reviews in the press but little airplay on Radio and TV. Although the single sold more copies than its predecessor in its first week, it climbed to only #62 in the UK charts. However, on 3 September 2006 it climbed to #35 in BBC Radio 1's Top 40 Rock Singles chart.
"Moving to Blackwater" is the sixth single by Surrey-based rock band Reuben, and the third single taken from their debut album, Racecar Is Racecar Backwards. It was released in August 2004, and was also the first single that Reuben had ever released in the wake of an album. Opinion was divided as to whether or not it was the right choice to follow "Freddy Kreuger". It received only a small number of plays on radioactive the time and even fewer showings on TV. In spite of this, the single still managed to reach #59 in the UK singles chart, only six places down from its predecessor. It was released on CD and 7" vinyl format, with a special alternative B-side on the vinyl copies.
